One thing for those thinking of leaving - it might be worth waiting a few weeks until the sweepstake draw.

    Just in case

  • I've done 48 surveys in the last couple of weeks to check this out. I've answered anywhere up to 30+ questions and then been told I am not entitled to my 10p, £1, or even entry into the draw.

Can someone put up somewhere in multiple languages that Ciao is not worthwhile at all for anyone, and make it sticky?

    Cheers

I spent at LEAST an hour on a very tedious survey on newspapers last night for £1.85. Completed it fully. At the end of it I entered my Ciao login name as per the survey's request and was told that it was wrong and to enter it again to qualify for the payment. I must've entered it at least 5 times and I am 100% certain that it's the right one.

    Today I got this:

We are very sorry if you've experienced technical problems with our survey
on media. These problems have been fixed now. If you haven't been able to
complete the survey, could you kindly try again now? The survey will take
about (survey_length) minutes of your time and can earn you £1.85* in your
    Ciao account.

I emailed back saying that I refused to do it again as it took an absolute age and that I wanted the money crediting anyway as it was their error. They even addressed the email to my username that I had been unsuccessfully entering last night!

    I hate them!
    Toluna - 68,260 points (16,300 pending) | Pigsback - £2.72 (claimed £30) | Global Test Market - 230 points | OnePoll - £12.30 | Lightspeed - 480 points | YouGov - £15.75 | Pinecone - £8.00

If you complete our easy 40 minutes survey, you will be paid £0.10 for your participation
    (emphasis mine)

Beyond a joke. It really is.

And I bet if I actually complete it, I'll still be ineligable for the money, like the other day; spent 20 minutes answering a survey and wasn't even given an entry into the draw.

As soon as this latest draw is done, I'm off.

Ive got really fed up with Ciao, their rewards for completing surveys is pathetic.

Ive been with Ciao a few years, but its really gone downhill. Ive requested a payout for the money ive earned. As soon as its in my bank account, im leaving them.

For anyone thinking about joining them, my advice is DONT BOTHER!!!!!!!!!

Me too. It's ridiculous. Do they seriously expect people to waste 40 minutes of their time for just 10p? Ciao used to be a nice little earner for me, but I too am considering leaving.

as of five minutes ago - unsubscribed from Ciao...and the pittance they've paid me - can't honestly be bothered to claim all £1 and whatever pennies...they'll probably take forever paying it anyway...onwards and upwards from here methinks...;)

You cant get what you have earned from them unless its over a fiver, so dont think youll get anything.

I requested payment on 4th March, still waiting for it to hit my bank account. As soon as it has, i think ill be parting company.
