I gave up ages ago - victim of its own success - far too global IMHO. Suggest you go down the YouGov route - regular surveys but takes time - but as they say ' slowly slowly catchy monkey''Proud To Be Dealing With My Debts' : Member number 632

I knocked Ciao on the head months ago - like you - never seemed to qualify for anything, besides 10p for 20 minutes of my time?? Nah - byeeeeee...I would put it down to experience, there are plenty of other survey sites out there...All these years since I left school and I've never once had to use Algebra0

the op..it gets a bit tedious on this thread not just having to just put up with the spammers but the numerous people starting off with..'I am not sure if this is the right thread'....this is a Freebie site...to tell people about Freebies..or are people just plain thick...0

Does anyone have an email address for Ciao that will actually get a response?
I am sick to death of them. I never qualify for any surveys anymore. Out of the very few I did qualify for a while back, I either never received payment or got paid less than I was supposed to (which is rubbish when they only pay 10p in the first place and you realise you're only getting 7p or whatever!).
The whole non-connection between the old and new style websites, which both seem to be running alongside each other and both acting as if the other doesn't exist, is a total shambles. I can't access the money I've earned in my old account as I never qualify for any 'old style' surveys so I will never reach payout.
On top of this I changed the email address associated with my account and now I'm getting everything sent to both my old and new email address.
I've emailed their so-called 'help' email address and got absolutely no reply. This has all been going on for months. I've had enough and want to close my account altogether as they're proving to be so much hassle I'd rather pay them to go away than take money from them... except I can't seem to close my account either!
Anyone managed to contact a real person there via email? (Not that I can find a phone number on their site anyway, but I'd rather not phone up as I'm not able to make phone calls during regular working hours and if I did speak to someone on the phone I'd probably just get angry and yell at them which wouldn't help matters much!)
I have had a similar experience in that, I keep emailing Ciao's query email address and they are not replying, apart from stock emails. The new survey emails are horrible.I always wanted to be a procrastinator, never got round to it...0 -

I'm sure the subject of this one was clear enough it's not something you'd be interested in actually contributing a positive answer to. And if it really is the wrong board, I'm sure a moderator will move it, though since it's about a freebies/no-spend (or rather lack of a supposed one) I fail to see why it is the wrong board</meta discussion>
To the OP - I'm considering jacking in Ciao; I'm not even getting 'quality' surveys any more; I keep getting screened out. And profile etc is up to date.Conjugating the verb 'to be":

I thougt it was just me who had started to get this problem with them. This only seems to have started with me in the new year, before I used to qualify for quite a few and have had a bit of money, but even when lucky enough  to qualify, it only seems to be for about 10p. Now I am also not bothering and just delete them.Be thankful for what you have because it could all be taken away tomorrow.;)

same here, they owe me about £12 but i never qualify anymore so im never going to reach the minimum payment0

I just managed to get enough to get paid out as had noticed the surveys were coming through either for 10p or for an entry into the prize draw. They used to be good as could get money from them pretty quickly but I think future payouts will be few and far between now!Win £2008 for 2008 Club Member number 408!!!
Won so far - bottle of Campo Viejo wine, popcorn and Pan’s Labyrinth on DVD. Thanks Channel Five for at last making me a winner!!!0
