Reason for lack of viewings...

http://www.rightmove.co.uk/property-for-sale/property-31077301.html

Is it just price?

We know our neighbours is up for less, but we can't afford to sell for less than this until we've saved more money. We did, however, hope to get a few more viewings than the one we've had in two months.

So... hit me with it, what's wrong?

    I've been Money Tipped!
The only thing that puts me off a little is the cluttered kitchen. Remove everything off of every surface and get another picture taken.

    Just my opinion .

  • Dunno about price but the exterior isn't that attractive, the kitchen looks tiny with far too little storage and the photos give the impression that they're trying to sell the furniture rather than the space they're in. If a similar flat in the same block is being offered for less I wouldn't bother viewing yours.
  • Well obviously we can't do anything about the size, but thanks for the input. Not sure how i can make the photos look less like furniture for sale - the house is far too small to take pictures of open space. We just tried to show that the upstairs can be seperated into cooking, dining and sitting.

Presentation looks alright, although the LR could use better/more interesting furniture placement and maybe some color- got any throw pillows in a vibrant colour or can you borrow any?

The kitchen looks like it doesn't have enough storage, but would the others in your development be the same?

Looks clean and tidy. Not sure, did your agent get feedback from the people who had a viewing?
  • I think the exterior is ugly, but then i didn't buy the house, my husband did. We thought the window box would help..? Also, we have a view of the garden which is quite nice.

  • It's nicely presented but I think looking at the room sizes the photos are making the flat seem smaller than it is.
  • Sorry LR?

Lol, i've tried with the colour, hubby is having none of it!

Apparently the woman that looked round loved the house and said it was just what she was looking for. Only we've never heard from her again and the agent can't get hold of her.

Just realised LR - living room? I thought the green was quite nice. I think it looks more striking when you're in the room rather than on pics, although i realise that is irrelevant to the photos.

Really? I don't think the agent could've stood any further back without climbing the walls. It's difficult, we don't want to mislead people.

At the end of the day each floor is 14 foot by 14 foot, there isn't a great deal we can do to make it look bigger.

You can put it all back after the photo has been taken.
