  • You obviously dont watch programs such as watchdog then, they address specific issues which in turn leads to a specific question. I scrapped my car, got the certificate and laminated it incase they come knocking at my with the bully boy tactics that others have faced.
  • Disable the car terminally, that will mean it cannot be driven again if you are concerned it will be driven after you have handed over the keys... (cut the cam belt, take out the plugs and fill with salty water etc)

Bit harsh if the scrap man is breaking it for spares before scrapping the carcass. If you did that to me I would be looking for some of my money back or paying you a lower price.

  • How can a cheque be better than a preloaded card?

Wait for postage......Got to go to bank.......Wait for clearance......then go spend money on another card,

Got mine from the guy who picked it up.
Was already loaded with the money, just had to phone up and activate, was down the shops at lunch getting something for the wife (good books for me)!!!!!

Gets even better than that, had a call a few days later offering me and extra £25 to do a survey that got put on the card I already had, which I then took the wife down the pub for a meal (even more browney points ) easy money if you ask me.

Sad point though, had to walk back as no car......
