Advice Please! NCP Parking Contravention Charge Notice, Ely Station Cambs

Greetings guys, I hope that someone will be able to help me shed some light on to this situation that I consider theft.
Today I parked at Ely station, I parked in a clear space in the car park, not in a painted bay as they were taken, but on the side against the curb, no yellow signs, no do not park signs etc etc. I came back and received a yellow 'Parking Contravention Charge Notice'.
The reason that I have started a new thread is that it seems the NCP have changed their wording now and have taken a new stance. My ticket says ' Notice Of Breach Of Terms And Conditions Of Parking At A Car Park Owned Or Managed By National Car Parks Limited' I had a look for their terms and conditions, I walked all around the car park that I was in, no terms and conditions, I exited my car park and went into the next larger car park at Ely station walked around and nothing, then I walked to the entrance by the main road, some distance away, lo and behold there were the tiny Terms and Conditions. "failure to park in a bay will result in a penalty' etc etc. This sign would never be passed by anyone on foot who parks and then goes to the train station, they simply do not need to pass it, it is completely in the opposite direction. My case is that even though the Terms & Conditions are printed way back at the initial entrance, I am considering challenging on the grounds that they are simply not appropriately placed. I would like to ask your advise please. Today there were 4 cars with these tickets on. It is robbery. In a previous brilliant thread, contributors kindly guided people through and said to ignore, however, as they NCP have changed their stance and have T&C in one place, is it worth the fight. I had paid a full days parking and as I said 4 other cars got a PCCN too. To me it shows an inadequate sign placement. Any thought and advise would be greatly appreciated. I have made a film of the station layout and placement of signs and distances etc and will be uploading to Youtube and will use it in court if necessary.
Many Thanks in advance.

You have not been given a parking ticket or a fine:
From a legal prospective what you have been given is an "invitation to pay a private invoice".
You are legally within your rights to reject the invitation and keep your money:
What will happen is they will buy your private data from DVLA and send a series of menacing letters threatening to take you to court and then more letters from fake debt collectors and fake solicitors again all threatening to take you to court.
They will not take you to court as legally they have no power to fine you or charge you a penalty.
In short it is a scam of impersonation of officialdom and empty threats.
HOW TO DEAL:
IGNORE everything, ignore all letters, ignore all fake solicitors letters and ignore all fake debt collectors.
They will get fed up and move on to another victim.
IGNORE Means exactly that IGNORE, you do not appeal, there is no appeal it is part of the scam, you do not bite back, do not write or do anything to correspond and they will go away, if they call your telephone, do not confirm any information place the handset down and leave it of the hook for ten minutes .
BE WARNED evidence on these and other forums clearly describes how people who do pay these hoping they go away receive further demands for more money, often several hundreds of pounds.Hi, we’ve had to remove your signature. Just to add, these parking scams rely on giving you something to pull at, they know some people just can not resist trying to be proved right and if you step back calm down you will see that what you are actually standing in is a very cleverly thought out trap designed to get you to take the obvious bait on the floor, they have had thousands of attempts and perfecting the trap and perfecting the bait, so you think you have spotted a flaw, a loop hole, when in fact what you have seen is what they have left out for you to see and by the time you realise you have been hooked you are well in to a dialogue with them.
Knowing that they have a live fish on the hook is 99% of the scam, but if you ignore them they dont know who you are from adam yes they have the keepers details but the driver is responsible and you do not have to correspond and give them any information, for all they know fred blogs details supplied by DVLA could be the local crown court Judge, senior police officer or local bone crunching no neck thug waiting to dish out some instant justice.
So stop zoom out and have a look at what this line you have found to pull is connected to.... A very large hook that will end up in your backside if you pull on it.
Hope This helps markHi, we’ve had to remove your signature. If you’re not sure why please read the forum rules or email the forum team if you’re still unsure - MSE ForumTeam0 -

The whole situation makes no difference. Always ignore a private parking charge notice. It's not a fine, it's just a bogus PCN.
There is no 'fight' needed - please stop thinking about 'challenging' this scam invoice. And there are more threads about PPCs than just the one you found! New threads every single day on this board, any thread about a non-Council ticket is just like yours as PPCs are all scammers:

If you haven't read the sticky threads at the top yet, look at 2 of them. You need to see 'PPC letters, what to expect' for a preview of NCP's scare tactics (idle threats, ignore). And you need to read 'welcome, please read before posting' and make sure you click on the Watchdog link. Once you have seen that you will be certain that this is just a scam, in spite of NCP being a large well-known parking company.
Park there again with impugnity. Nothing happens except letters, this is just like a series of phishing emails only played out by post. Then after a few months of rubbish, the debt collectors give up and move on to a victim who actually writes to them and sets themselves up as a hooked fish.
HTHPRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

IMHO That wording actually makes it more difficult for NCP, [who do nothing anyway], but if they did I would think the terms and conditions would need to be posted on every parking bay. You couldn't agree to something unless it was impossible for you not to see it!0

One of the staff members on Auto Express recently wrote that he got a parking ticket for parking at one of the stations in Cambs/Lincs - can't remember where but it was in the Cabbage Counties!
He wrote to NCP as a journalist to complain and the ticket was cancelled. He had bought a parking ticket, parked in a clear area because all other spaces were taken, and was not causing an obstruction. NCP waffled on about how they would look at providing more spaces which basically means: "pish off Mr Journalist, we'll make empty promises and do nothing when the heat has died down."
Essentially NCP want the revenue from car parking, but love the revenue from fines if they don't mark out enough spaces. The man without a signature.0 -
Just ignore them. If the other victims are clever they'll use Google and see they don't have to pay.0

Hello all,
I am new to the forum. I was just about to go online to pay a fine for parking outside the bays (boy was I cross when I got the ticket) at Ely station a bout 2 weeks ago.
Unfortunately I did not consult the expert body here so I have written to the appeals address explaining I was not blocking cars in and had done the same numerous times before, but wouldn't be doing it again now I know the 'rules' have changed.
Anyway, I heard nothing back from my apeal.
My question is: having entered into correspondence is the option to ignore the scammers still open to me or do I have to cough up for this one and 'live and learn'. Its £50 today and £75 from tomorrow (robbing gits).
Advice appreciated!!0 -
David, the options remains firmly open to you. Ignore them all you like.My very sincere apologies for those hoping to request off-board assistance but I am now so inundated with requests that in order to do justice to those "already in the system" I am no longer accepting PM's and am unlikely to do so for the foreseeable future (August 2016).
For those seeking more detailed advice and guidance regarding small claims cases arising from private parking issues I recommend that you visit the Private Parking forum on PePiPoo.com0 -

Your question is asked about once a week. I searched this forum for 'already appealed' and got all these results:

Just ignore the PPC - was it Meteor or NCP?PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
