  • Wow - what can I say - i am shocked at some of the responses to my post.
"My poor baby" - I think some people just thrive on a bit of drama!

I know I don't need to explain myself but I will anyway.....

I did NOT leave my baby to cry for hours unattended - not knowing if Mummy or Daddy are ever coming !
I went in to him every 3 minutes or so - picked him up, cuddled him, put him back in his bed.
I knew he wasn't cold / hungry / thirsty - whatever - he just wanted me to stay with him - and this couldn't happen anymore.

    It took 2 nights - 1 bad - 1 not too bad.

He now understands his bed is for sleeping, he now understands how to settle himself - this is for the good of him not just us.

He is still the same happy, funny, mischevious little boy as before - no lasting damage.

To everyone else - thanks for the positive messages :)
