    Hi

I recieved my offer letter from Lloyds on 8th July and was told to expect payment within 21 working days (so by 8th August). I am still waiting for payment to be made to my account.

Has anyone else experienced a delay this long?

Any suggestions on what else i can do to try and speed things up? I have been told numerous times on the phone that I am on a priority payment spreadsheet set up by the refund team (who you cant speak to) but even this has now been going on for weeks!

    Any help appreciated!

    thanks

Has anyone received there refund yet, I got told on the 30th Sep when i called up that I will be getting my payment within 7-10 working days... We shall see......
  • Had letter dated 8th September not sent out by them until the 12th September with offer worded to be paid shortly. Am still waiting. Telephoned yesterday, waited 1 hour for them to answer. Was told, owing to delays in finance it woud be 8 to 10 weeks from date of letter before payment would be made. As a Lloyds customer I am considering moving my accounts. Lloyds keep moving the goal posts. Latest in my offer letter is that the monies will be paid by cheque not directly into my bank account. Just another delay before paying over the money.
  • I got letter confirming they would make payment out on two loans (nothing about credit card though??) and I had to return an acceptance but no details of actually how much in that letter. I spoke with them and confirmed full payment should be to me as all my debt was cleared (in face overpaid and had to be refunded) last October 2010. The gent on the phone said he had confirmed everything to the department who needed to send the payments and it should be through but couldn't give me a timescale - he did say that at one point Lloyds were issuing a thousand cheques a day... :/O Then two days later I got another letter saying I didn't have to return the form after all, and this was what I was going to get (I will post the amount if it actually does ever materialise!!!) .... that was at the start of September... and we are now almost half way through October... I would really like to get this cleared and done soon - this could be the difference between taking a job in desperation to tick over or being able to 'enjoy' redundancy (if that is the right word...:) )

So the FOS says they have 16 weeks to respond (which they didn't do in my case, but it was only a few weeks over that after I chased them up.)

Surely the FOS have some sort of timescale for how long it should take to get the payments out though? 3 months to send a cheque seems a bit ridiculous and unfair.

I rang FOS and they said a timescale of 8 weeks is reasonable

I got my letter at the start July and I received my cheque yesterday.

Will admit it took a fair few phone calls and emails, and many failed promises to get there though.

    Keep chasing them up

Well done. :) That' the first post I've seen since I started reading this forum where someone has said the words "received my cheque", with regard to LTSB. Was that your first letter at the start of July or the calculations letter?
