Im liking the hamper idea as a special pressie!!!!! Perfect! Just need some lovely reduced wicker baskets and gingham tea towels to line em with. Hang on, Tesco value tea towels are perfect as they are blue and white gingham and cost silly prices. Perfect. Double bonus of being a home present afterwards as the towel would be reusable too!:A Every moment is a gift. That's why we call it the present.!:A

I got a box tonight, loads left on the shelf.
Maybe I am missing the point, but when you open the box, you get 4 small plastic wrapped trays with the 4 different sorts of biscuits in them, just doesn't look a lot for the size of the box, opened one packet, to test taste them and I really don't think much of them!!Breast Cancer Now 100 miles October 2022 100 / 100miles

they'd restocked the shelf at my local this morning when I popped in for some milk so I just had to have another couple of boxes

Looked in two local Tesco's yesterday. Both SELs marked up at 59p and both shelves empty...

Had to get petrol today so I thought I'd look again, and the shelf in both Mr T's had been restocked! Bought a couple of boxes in each branch as my mum wanted some for Christmas and I'm planning to give some along with a couple of little bottles of wine from the earlier wine glitch. Just need to find glitchy cheese selections...
Also had a result on the Reece's Peanut Butter Cups. One of the Mr T's I visited hadn't changed the half price label as the offer ended yesterday. Bought a few packs and was charged 62p per pack instead of 31p as per the SEL. Went to customer services and got DTD without asking = free choccy! :j
Thanks so much to the Biscuits For Cheese OP and the Reece's OP.:T
Actually, a huge thank you to everyone who contributes to this fab forum. You're all stars! xx0 -

) They are really nice if no-one tasted them before and come in 4 seperate packets so perfect to grab one for snacking when out with kiddies (they love them aswell) 0 -

I was also thinking of making small hampers for xmas as I recently made some chutney (had loads of free plums and green gages from DH's uncle). even if you can't cook the chutney is soo easy to make - google "green gage chutney with chilli and ginger" you just put it all in a pan to simmer for 2 hours then decant into sterilised jam jars.(you can use the same recipe with plums or just google a different one) You can get pretty tops for the jars or make your own out of paper and twine or string. For my little hampers, I was thinking of chutney, one or two of the 4 packs of biscuits, some cheese and small bottle of port. I was going to try and find some cheap baskets to put them in with shredded paper and cellophane. HTH
That sound excellent and to help you wilkinsons today had baskets in the reduced section for 25p loads of different sizes, all round, no handles, brown wicker type ones 25p:D0 -
