Was thinking of making xmas gifts with theses in cello with maybe fancy cheese, cheese board and knife. Any ideas ? Im not very creative x

I bought 4 boxes today (thanks OP!). In the box there are 4 smaller packs which are individually wrapped. I was also thinking of making small hampers for xmas as I recently made some chutney (had loads of free plums and green gages from DH's uncle). even if you can't cook the chutney is soo easy to make - google "green gage chutney with chilli and ginger" you just put it all in a pan to simmer for 2 hours then decant into sterilised jam jars.(you can use the same recipe with plums or just google a different one) You can get pretty tops for the jars or make your own out of paper and twine or string. For my little hampers, I was thinking of chutney, one or two of the 4 packs of biscuits, some cheese and small bottle of port. I was going to try and find some cheap baskets to put them in with shredded paper and cellophane. HTH

  • Tip for these: look up! I got two full, sealed boxes from the very top shelf (6 in each box). Left the standard ones on the normal shelf for others.

    I hate cheese!!
Do you have to eat them with cheese??

I think they would be nice just with butter, the description on the box says "A crisp buttery selection slowly baked to traditional recipes in the heart of Dorset, using oats, oregano and walnuts for added flavour" these are not you average crackers, these are your T's finest:rotfl::rotfl:
And they are suitable for vegetarians:T
    Beware!!!! Glitching is addictive:rotfl:

    Lovely with pate.:)

  • I'll just be eating them dry unless there's a glitch on butter/cheese/pate! My shopping budget for the next few weeks has gone on glitch food!

That sounds fab thanks for the advise. Would not have thought of making chutney x
