Please help!! I am planning on taking my girlfriend to Disneyland Paris on the 11th-14th Feb. I have been goin round in circles looking for deals, ticket prices etc. I am a student so am looking to spend no more than £200 on each person. I have found a good deal on lastminute.com which is return eurostar plus bed and breakfast for 3 days for just over £300.Is this the best price i will find?? Many thanks in advance.

I think that is as good as you will get especially if going by eurostar

We visited 3 years ago and stayed in The Disneyland Hotel in August. It was as everyone else has stated, absolutely amazing. The highlight being the characters in the foyer and at breakfast, signing autograph books and posing for photos. When you see how they get 'mobbed' in the park, and the huge queues for photos and autographs, you appreciate how 'lucky' you are in the Disneyland Hotel. We are hoping to return this year for a long weekend, although will not be able to stay in the Disneyland, so we are hoping to stay in either the Dream Castle or Holiday Inn as have heard good reviews for both.

  • We stayed 3 nights at the Disneyland hotel and it was gorgeous. However if we were going again I would stay in the New York and have 4 nights for the price of 3 at the Disneyland one. There's so much to do the extra day would be a better option. Hope you have a great time! I really want to go back now!:D
  • Ive just booked up for the spring holiday week. There's loads flight deals to orley or charles-de-gaule. I booked coventry to orley return inc taxes for £45 each.

Petrov- use trip advisor to seach the local hotels. I can never find the hotels using the search from the home page so just type one hotel name in google and click a tripadvisor link. Once you get the 1st page all the local hotels will be listed on the left. If you want to stay within 15 min train journey there are many cheapos to the east. for example- the campinalle group, misterbeds and formula1 starting around £25 per night. If you want something very close (free shuttle) you can go for 3 nights to:
    1/ dream castle (expedia £220)
2/ holiday inn (priority club / opodo £198)
3/ kyriad (expedia inc 1 night free £120) - cheapest!
    4/ explorers (expedia £226)
5/ val d'europe appartments (expedia £141- good for self catering!)

You will need to get transport to/from the airport.

Last tip- there is something called magic hours that allow you to enter the park 2 hours before or stay after 'normal' time. This normally available to disney hotels only. I found one non disney hotel that includes this perk. Its within the disney circle road (look at a map and you'll see what i mean about the circle) in the val d'europe shopping complex and called 'Elysee'. I've found it for £180 for 3 nights but cant find it now! The disavantage is that it didn't include breakfast and you might spend too much shopping so i didn't tell the wife!!
    Hope this helps!
    Cash ISA rate 6.5% fixed for 2 years. Mortgage rate 0.75% = 5.75% profit on £75K = £4500 per year:j
