Hi, yes you can received CC payments to a micropayments account.
If you're keen to convert your account, get on to pp straight away.
I had about 20 low-value 10 day listings running when I found out about micropayments. I got straight on to paypal, hoping they could sort it out before the auctions ended.
They didn't, but you may be luckier. Perhaps they have two people with a brain there these days.My TV is broken!
Edit: refunded £515 for TV 1.5 years out of warranty - thank you Sale of Goods Act! :j0 -
may sound daft but you can buy parcel delivery on e-bay at very cheap prices. Search on "parcel delivery". I have used it a lot and have never had any problem. Many of them actually use Parcelforce but buy a block of deliveries in bulk and sell them off singly. The price you pay is much less than Parcelforce prices.0

I have only ever had a personal Paypal account, and I've been selling on there for over four years now.
Where it says 'Seller's payment instructions', I say that I'm unable to accept credit or debit cards though Paypal.
Never had a problem.0 -
you may not have had a problem, but many buyers these days (myself included) prefer to pay by Paypal...
so when I am searching, I tick the box that only searches for listings that offer paypal as payment method.....so I would never see the listing.
By not choosing to take paypal they could be losing a lot of potential customers....0 -
But I do offer PayPal - that's my point.0

but not credit/debit card...which is how most people choose to pay by Paypal...if it was me, on seeing your payment instructions, I would just look elsewhere...losing potential sales...0 -
Just shows how everybody's different then, because I only ever pay with my PayPal balance! :rotfl:0

I would never leave a balance in Paypal after reading some of the horror stories that they get up to.....or it could get hacked into0 -

As long as you don't tick the 'I accept paypal' box and have the credit card logos showing on your auction, you're allowed to carry on as you are.My TV is broken!

You are not being as safe as you can be. Always withdraw your balance..why leave it there for paypal to make use of, withdraw it to a savings account and earn interest. Then fund *all* your purchases from paypal via a credit card.
In the case of a paypal dispute a balance transfer is nowhere near as safe as a credit card funded payment.
