If people love each other, Then they should do whats right for them selfs, and forget what others say or think.
Forget all the controversy between same sex marriages just wastes everyones time.0 -

You asked a question in an attempt to provoke controversy but given the unanimous support for gay marriage on this thread so far I don't think it is very controversial at all!Common sense?...There's nothing common about sense!0 -
Controversial? Maybe a few years ago, not any more.
All a bit yesterday to be honest, far more controversial topics out there than gay marriage.0 -
I dont understand what the problem seems to be. Other than some old bloke in a dress doesnt approve.:rotfl:0

Yes. if people love one another, then that's great, whatever the mix.:T
What is 'normal/natural' anyway?
LinYou can tell a lot about a woman by her hands..........for instance, if they are placed around your throat, she's probably slightly upset.0 -

Yes - so you can get married now. Good luck to your new partner!0 -
The logical answer is almost certainly 'yes', but my personal feeling is 'no'. Not because I am homophobic, more because it's not what my personal idea of marriage should be. I see marriage as an institution between a man and a woman and also closely associated with procreation.
To be honest I am pretty uneducated when it comes to single-sex relationships and I don;t know any same sex couples, so that probably also makes my view bias.
I don't have any real hang-ups about it, but if I could choose wether they were allowed or not, I would probably say 'no'A smile costs nothing, but gives a lot.It enriches those who receive it without making poorer those who give it.A smile takes only a moment, but the memory of it can last forever.0 -

No.
When it was allowed it was just another step in the degeneration of this country.0 -
I've seen the suffering caused by keeping a relationship a secret. Whether your heterosexual or homosexual you should have the same rights. Its time to put the prejudice aside. As for the Bible bashers, anybody can find and twist quotes from the text to further there own prejudice.0

Yes, gay marriage should be allowed. Not just the current cop-out known as civil partnership (although a step in the right direction), but fully acknowledged marriage.
Marriage should be about love and companionship, not procreation!
If it was about making babies, does that mean that infertile couples, older couples or people who simply don't want children shouldn't marry?
(Incidentally, I am straight, married and have kids!)0
