See the link in the previous post. Odd thing is, how do you keep getting good feedback if you're selling dodgy goods?

There's no reason you can't leave 'FOLLOW UP' feedback, even if you have left good feedback. Use capital letters for effect and maybe a few *'s either end too to draw peoples attention to the comments...

  • i dont buy them from ebay anymore as although they seem genuine, when you actually shave they get stuck in the backward motion and i have to manually push them forward again, its probably damaged stock

I've just bought some Gillette power razor blades from Ebay, delivery was very swift & the blades look genuine to me although the packing is in German not English.

The seller has 100% positive feedback over a couple of years and nearly 1000 sales over 2 years, mostly selling similar sorts of item.

Is there any way I can tell if the blades are fakes? If not they'll earn repeat business, if so, well that depends on the quality of the blades.

    Anyone with past experience?

Sybarite: have you thought about using an alternative? I've been using Aldi's 3 balde razor for the past 3 months and it is superb. I brought the razor and 4 blades for £1.79 and replacement blades are really cheap. Asda and Tesco do their own brand razors as well.

Thanks for this, am certainly prepared to give supermarket own brand a go. No Asda or Aldi near to me though, so it's going to be Tesco.

The Gillette Fusion thingy is really good (had a freebie) but I did actually gasp when I saw the cost of replacement blades - what are Gillette on? I could buy a top of the range electric shaver for the cost of 6 months supply of these things.
I do hope you're telling the truth?

Hi, Just to say that I brought 80 blades from Ebay last year for my brother and myself and they lasted the year.

I had no problems with them and if I could find the sellers details id happily buy again.

I guess its luck the same as anything else. I did howether buy some from the local market and wished id brought some of there plasters at the same time lol ;)

  • I bought something identical from eBay last year. They were fake blades the seller fobbed off as real, slashed my face to pieces :(
  • Mine were from this seller.
Definitely fake - were absolutely useless.

I also gave positive feedback as looked genuine - I persevered with them for a few weeks but then bought a genuine pack from supermarket and the difference is now very obvious.

Is it possible to change the feedback I left?

You can't change feedback, only leave follow-up (see my previous post), or request to withdraw it.

On principle I never leave any feedback until I am sure I am happy with what I have bought and had chance to test it out and make sure it works okay...
