Are Ebay Gillette razor blades fakes?

Report him to eBay (although probably a waste of time), his local trading standards and Gillette. Gillette are the ones who will probably take most interest.

Is the general consensus that we don't bother informing Ebay that goods are counterfeit on the grounds that they don't give a monkey's & aren't actually going to do anything?

I bought a load of ebay razers, they looked genuine, seemed to work OK. I took them all of the paper packaging which might not have been a good idea.

The last 5 or so seemed to go a bit rusty and didn't do a very good job. One time whilst I was shaving one of the blades came out one one side whilst I was shaving and gave me quite a nasty cut!

Been stung before by this, pm me the name of the seller if you want and I can say whether it was the same person. Through mine out in disgust.

I did nothing about my fake blades as i left positive feedback when they arrived as they seemed fine, and all other buyers had done the same, i couldnt see any neutrals or negatives mentioning fakes. I didn't think the seller would do anything about it since I had already left feedback. Paypal claim wasn't worth it as they used to limit you to 2 or 3 a year iirc and I didn't want to 'waste' one of my claims for the sake of a couple of quid.

I also left feedback when i received the.. but still did a apaypal claimback for counterfeit items.. and a full refund for the blades inc delivery

Hi Thanks for enquiry. I really dont know where they were manufactured, in all honesty doubt original as most on ebay, the prices dont stack up, however I use myself new blade every 2 weeks, and at these prices everyone seems happy. Check feeback, but please make up your own mind.
