It is true, all reverts to imprinters must be authorised. They might still pay it, but they have the choice not to. the floor limit in these circumstances becomes zero.0

What account would you suggest would be the best for him once he's 16? He needs a full account with an embossed card, direct debit facility etc. He doesn't want to not be able to do anything like Natwest or RBS.(They don't allow DD).0

I would second the HSBC suggestion, I had there MyAccount with them until last year when I turned 18 & they upgraded it to a full account.

OP how old is your child out of interest?
Most banks will upgrade the accounts automatically one they have become of age.Im an ex employee RBS GroupHowever Any Opinion Given On MSE Is Strictly My Own0 -
