Wearing a bra in bed?
Comments
-
I use to wear a bra to bed until I was about 20 my mum said that I shouldn't as it can cause breast cancer, I don't know how true it is though. I don't wear one to bed anymore but I sometimes crush them in my sleep and then they hurt

I can't sleep in a bra, even for a snooze (D cup) - it's just too uncomfortable. The only person I knew who used to sleep in a bra was a school friend, who has since emigrated to Australia. I think it's fair to say that all of her has gone south...Good enough is good enough, and I am more than good enough!:j
If all else fails, remember, keep calm and hug a spaniel!0 -

I've never worn a bra to bed...mostly because it just isn't comfortable but like a few others on this thread, when I was younger I heard about research showing a link between wearing underwire bras for long periods and breast cancer. Combined with the discomfort was enough to put me off.
Turns out that's an urban myth though!

Still, I'm in my 30's, not exactly small (36E) and things are still in the right place so I don't think enjoying a comfortable bra-less sleep has done me any harm!Common sense?...There's nothing common about sense!0 -
I only wear mine to bed if i'm staying anywhere but home (friends, hotels etc).
I used to wear one all the time when I was younger but find it too uncomfortable now and let them go free

OMG I feel a bit of a freak now! I always wear my bra in bed, the only time I don't is when I am taking a shower/bath. I'm a DD and I can't relax or sleep without having the support. I have never read anything about wearing a bra/not wearing a bra in bed anywhere it's just my personal preference!0

I'm another one for not wearing a bra if I can help it.....34E, so not small. I don't think I've ever worn one to bed, I can't think of anything more uncomfortable!
Like candygirl posted earlier, I unclip as I get home and have had the 'bra round neck' embarassment, too!
What's the 'pencil test'??:j0 -

The pencil test: You place a pencil underneath one of you (bra-less) boobs, and let go of it. If the pencil is held in place by your boob, you have 'failed' the pencil test. The idea is that if your boobs are pert and not saggy, the pencil should just drop to the floor.
The 'can of lager test' soudns more fun though! Although preferable not a chilled can of lager, don't fancy having that up near my boob....
