Jurassic Park theme! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=D8zlUUrFK-M
Quite a lot of people seem to be using this for their weddings now. Any orchestral movie music would sound great though. All epic and romantic. Especially any of the film scores by John Williams.:rudolf: :rudolf: :rudolf: :rudolf: :rudolf:0 -
What about Sigor Ros Hoppipolla...maybe just as an instrumental, without the Icelandic Vocals if you prefer...I've seen it on quite a few wedding videos at the start of the ceremony so why not play it for real?

I went for a Welsh folk song on the harp though, due to my Welsh roots.
I thinking of Highland cathedralI came in to the theme from Ski Sunday (actually called Pop Looks Bach) - not quite as random as it sounds as I have very fond memories of watching it at my granny's house. She's not around any more, so it was something that brought her into the day, and the piece is also quite fanfare-ish, without being too full on for the smallish room we were in.
Love this idea did think of batoven Moonlight sonta cause mum played this when I was little.
Good luck whatever you decide!I had the Butterfly Waltz piano/cello duet by Brian Crain. Very lovely.

This is with violin, but there is a version on iTunes which is with cello, which I preferred.
Also thought of flight of the bumblebee as i'm a gardener or here comes the sun.:kisses3: Married 29th September 2012

I walked in to Canon in D. and we walked out to a shostakovich (sp) piece. For signing the register we had The Pogues Love you til the end (meant something important to us) and The Beatles I wanna hold your hand. The OH wanted She bangs the Drum by the Stone Roses, but changed his mind at the last minute, because he didn't think people would get it.Married my wonderful husband 31st July 2011 :j

Same here, Agadoo could have been playing and I wouldn't have realised lol!
I did however remember the song playing which we walked out to, which was Jackie Wilson, You're love keeps lifting me higher, where I had a massive cheesy grin on my face and so did my lovely new husband

I walked down the aisle to an instrumental version of "She" by Elvis Costello..I loved it.0

I really want to walk down the aisle to hoppipolla, but an instrumental version, but then I am also thinking it would be romantic to have it as our first dance, Im not sure which to use it for. I also like canon in d so I might use that instead.0

I walked in to the original version of this. I can't find it on youtube but it was lovely.
I wanted a Beatles mix for walking out/receiving line but the guy in charge of the venue forgot to turn the music on and I only noticed once the last people were coming our way
