  • we chose songs from some of our favourite movies. One of them being from the soundtrack of "once" which I walked down the isle to I love the whole ack listen to it and see if anything touches you like it did me.

The other being from disney pixar movie "Up" there is actually a track called married life and we had this playing in the back ground during the signing.

She did and it took me months to work out what tune it was. I was humming it all day and in the end had to ask her. Apparently they met when it was on in the background.

Ahh, that explains it then! Was thinking at first what an odd choice of song/music for her wedding lol! x

I'm walking to an instrumental version of Metallica's "Nothing else matters"

There's two mins before it gets heavy and it's a way to incorporate the metal music I love without frightening my nan.

That's what I'm gonna walk to as well! Beautiful piece of music and the lyrics are perfect (not that we'll get to those...)

:D looking forward to the reactions that's for sure.

koolkatsaffi: I think my poor father would freak if I had Bring your Daughter, though I'd like to include Fear of the Dark somehow!

What's the one from Romeo and Juliet called? Is that 'loving you'?

What about Sigor Ros Hoppipolla...maybe just as an instrumental, without the Icelandic Vocals if you prefer...I've seen it on quite a few wedding videos at the start of the ceremony so why not play it for real?

  • I walked down the aisle to Air from suite no3. Spent months agonising over this and at the end of the day I barely noticed the song playing as I was concentrating on walking down to my hubbie, it could have been the chicken song for all I knew. Canon in D was our second choice.
