Hiya all you lovelies!
Just wondered what everyone who had a civil ceremony walked down the isle to? We're getting married in a beautiful hotel, i'm a bit stuck what to walk in to? I dont want anything cheesy like a song, more instrumental. Anyone got any suggestions?

Cannon in D is one of the most popular.
I went for a Welsh folk song on the harp though, due to my Welsh roots.0 -
I'm all for the cheese -
H2B is walking in first to Boys are back in town (he'll be walking in with his 2 best men).
The my Maid of Honor and her son will walk in to something that they choose. Top of his list at the moment is Peter's Kays march (i'm hoping he changes his mind).
I would like to walk in to Bruno Mars and I think i want to marry you, but I also love the idea of Pink's Get the party started.
however my sister in law walked in to the instrumental of I wanna feel like somebodys watching me by Michael Jackson.Forty and fabulous, well that's what my cards say....0 -
I will probably have something religious (as getting married in church) but I also want 'Gabriel's Oboe' (my #1 favourite piece of music) at some stage during the ceremony, so maybe when walking up the aisle. So many decisions...

What about Mika Happy ending, just the instrumental - I may do this as I dont want a religious song and nobody will cop on that it's Mika lol0

I really want to walk down the aisle to the string version of Viva la Vida but I don't think I will be able to convince my OH.
Probably, canon in D or arrival of the queen of sheba. I really want something different though.0 -

Viva la Vida would be beautiful - alot of people use Elbow on a day like this
My OH better watch I dont go for snowpatrol - the good thing about instrumentals is that it takes people along time to work out what it is.0 -
I came in to the theme from Ski Sunday (actually called Pop Looks Bach) - not quite as random as it sounds as I have very fond memories of watching it at my granny's house. She's not around any more, so it was something that brought her into the day, and the piece is also quite fanfare-ish, without being too full on for the smallish room we were in.
Good luck whatever you decide!0 -
I had the Butterfly Waltz piano/cello duet by Brian Crain. Very lovely.

This is with violin, but there is a version on iTunes which is with cello, which I preferred.0
