I haven't had any letter from BOS.......are they closing the Reward accounts now?
They're just not opening any more.

    Existing ones remain open.
  • On it's website BOS stated "we are the only Scottish Bank to reward it's customers with 5 pounds" something to that effect, can't remember exact words, it has now given up this advantage, and taken on an inferior product, i.e. LTSB classic accounts. What I fear as a BOS reward customer, will BOS over time reduce the reward, and try and encourage current reward customers to switch to their new and in my opinon vastly inferior products. I'm not scare mongering, I'm probably talking cobblers, but it seems to me, that why would new customers in Scotland take out the new BOS classic account, when Halifax are offering a better deal with their rewards account.

I don't mean to sound rude but we are talking about 5 pounds a month:rotfl:

For those of us who have a few of these (between myself and OH we have 6) the £5 per month x 6 has been a good little earner for doing nothing more than moving £1K around each account each month.
  • Same here, £360 per year is not to be sneezed at. Plus I get back another £52.50 as a non-taxpayer.
