I believe the seller can take the remainder at any point0
-
I take it he has rang the seller to offer to pay the extra?0
-
no not rang the seller0
-
Maybe ringing the seller is a good idea, it will prevent anything any money taken in the future0

Your partner's father owes the second hand car dealer £3,464.01.0 -
the seller will have 6 years to claim back the extra amount owed!
Legally your father still owes the money, it is up to you to pay back straight away or wait for it to be taken. Probably be less stressful to just admit and pay right away before they do their books.
Unfortunately your father doesn't get the car for £35 beacuse of a simple mistake!0 -

So you're looking for a loophole to avoid paying the balance?
I wonder how you would react if it was the reverse and they accidently overcharged you..0 -
So if there was not a loophole you would not use it arcon50
