If it helps anyone, the BT is actioned pretty quickly for anyone who is cutting a bit fine with another expiring 0% card (like I nearly did this time round!). Took 3-4 days max.

Not for me, I requested a BT over a week ago, and I'm still waiting for it to appear.

Me too. Phoned to request BT on 2nd Feb, apparently BT was charged to account on 6th, but still hasn't arrived on egg money.

I applied on line via the stozing site and was directed to another site. Someone from this other site then rang me and asked if I would like an MNBA card instead. I said no. I was turned down for both Clydsdale and Yorkshire, which doesn't surprise me as I have made a lot of applications for cards recently. What did surprise me was that I got a text. a letter and an email telling me that I have been accepted for an MNBA card with a £5000 limit.
I don't know whether MNBA are just trying to get me to apply and will then turn me down....has this happened to anyone else? The letter definitely says I have been accepted.

I have also BTed from Egg Money. The thing that concerns me is that I had to repeat my card number to them about four times because they kept telling me it doesn't exist. I hope it hasn't gone into a black hole.

Still no funds this morning, it's now been 7 working days.
  • Surprised by all your experiences....was probably one of the smoothest app-to-stooz processes I've ever had to go through...was given a nice high limit and transfer with no fee too...

I did request the transfer via the application though. Sounds like some of you have been doing this over the phone.

Agree with Lopo, once you see it reducing your available credit when using and viewing online via the co-operative site, it means its on the way to you...

My BT is now showing up on egg money dated 12th Feb, which I think is 6 working days from the initial phone call. I BTed my full credit limit.

I would phone them and see if the BT has been applied to your account.

  • I just went on there website, and it says that they charge.... Doesn't say anything about no fee - am I looking in the wrong place?
went direct to Clydesdale bank website

There was a short promotion whereby there was no fee if you applied for the card before the 2nd Feb (I think) and then applied for the BT before the 28th Feb. I don't think this was ever mentioned on the Yorkshire or Clydesdale Web sites - I found out about it from the Stoozing site.

So I'm afraid you will be too late to get this deal.

Applied for the Yorkshire card last week, but got a letter turning me down. Very surprised and disappointed as have excellent credit history and this is my first ever CC refusal.

    Is it worth appealing?

Not worth appealing if you want a fee free deal as the offer has finished. Otherwise it maybe.
