Fake store picture - The Bedcentre

Lol they've left the currys adverts inside the store too, idiots! Looks like the whitecity currys to me0
-
its cheeky but have they really done anything wrong as long as a it sells beds
If you were buying a bed would you visit the shop if they'd used the real photo on their website?
The photo is protrating their shop as something it isn't, it's enticing people like the OP to travel miles to their shop only to find it's not like that at all.
Can you really not see anything wrong with that?
EDIT: Sorry James, just seem a later post by yourself, seems you didn't realise what had happened.Accept your past without regret, handle your present with confidence and face your future without fear0 -
Would be worth making a complaint through the Advertising Standards Agency:

Sorry not sure how to post image
Wow! Well found!0 -
Currys are not the copyright holder of the image (unless they commissioned it and the photographer waived their moral rights contractually)
I doubt someone photographed the store on the offchance. But maybe they did and the bed centre paid them for a mock up of a new store.
However if they did that, would they have sold such a glum version of the photo to the original customer?0 -
Lol, they didn't even change the cars in the car park. :rotfl:
Can you imagine if someone's car is in that picture and their OH sees it. How would they explain that they were buying a bed in Swindon when they were suppoed to be buying a kettle in Clacton :rotfl::rotfl:Accept your past without regret, handle your present with confidence and face your future without fear0 -
IF you google " registered company 4751242" you come up with several different companies including, ahem, this one
http://www.donwands.co.uk/
has interesting t & cs on their privacy section too?!
http://www.donwands.co.uk/privacy-policy
and
http://www.musicademy.com/store/uk/
That number is registered to a company called lonah limited on companies house0 -
That's really weird! You thought the guy would have at least been nice because there have probably been so many people who've entered the shop a little bit miffed and confused

It looks like a lot of the websites that that company number appear on are done by Media Lounge. They've obviously adapted the same template and not changed the registered company number to the correct one for each site.
On the T&C page they show the correct company number for BedCentre which is 04716402.
