Well the fraud act states thatFraud by false representation.
(1)A person is in breach of this section if he—
(a)dishonestly makes a false representation, and
(b)intends, by making the representation—
(i)to make a gain for himself or another, or
And I would say that passing your business off as a very large warehouse type shop when in reality you are really a grotty little back street premises is a false representation and the only reason I can see for doing it to to attempt to convince customers to buy from you.0 -

Two different places maybe, but one photo is of a Bedcentre shop that doesn't exist and it can be shown for one purpose only and that is in an attempt to impress potential customers.14.1 Bedcentre.co.uk owns the copyright in and operates this website. I doubt very much if Currys have given permission for a doctored photo of one of their stores to be used.0 -
Currys are not the copyright holder of the image (unless they commissioned it and the photographer waived their moral rights contractually)
But yes, I would suggest you try the ASA at least https://www.asa.org.uk - unrepresentitive photos on a website is under their remit even if they are toothless, it is still another voice of judgement.0 -

The top pic shows a building that doesn't exist, well it does as a Currys, but not as "Bedcentre".
The bottom picture is the only retail shop that Bedcentre have, but they call it Swindon bed centre.0 -

What?? You think the OP went to the wrong place or something? No. You misunderstand.
The Swinton Bed Centre show a pic of "The Bed Centre" on their website, which is, in fact, a doctored photo of a Currys store.0 -

And as well, on the website it shows the address as "2/4 The orbit Centre".
On the second picture of the true store you can see the sign saying "The Orbit Centre"0 -
Thanks for the information, enigmam.
There's quite a lot wrong with that website so I've rated and commented about it on Web of Trust.
