I just had to let you all know about this! 2 people weekend break for £126.92! Flights, 2 nights bed and breakfast in 4 star hotel in centre of Barcelona, parking on site at Luton Airport & a hire car in Spain for the trip for £63.46 per person!
I booked flights from Luton to Gerona (Barcelona) for two 3rd - 5th February £2.84 (BO/GOF)
I used the EasyJetHotels price guarantee to get a 4 star hotel in the centre of Barcelona for £56.48 (original price £321)
I used the link and code on the travel section of MSE (http://www.bcponline.co.uk 'BN221' gives 15% on parking) to get on-site short stay parking at Luton for £30.60
And I used the http://www.travelsupermarket.com/carhire link on the travel section of MSE to find the cheapest car hire when I get to Spain and that was £37.00
And all thanks to MSE - thanks very much guys!!!!!0 -
I booked a ticket to La Rochelle for DD and myself. We're planning on staying in the Youth Hostel. Anyone else been there recently? We're looking for tips on cheap activities.
Cheers to OP!0 -
We have 5 kids aged 10month-8yrs. Have booked Dublin weekend (BOGOF) and spain at half term. I phoned the airline as my so n is autistic and the children are little so we need to be sat together, I was told that when we arrived we would have priority seating as little children need to sit with their parents. Bizarrely-looking for some thing else I found this.

Yes definately. However I grew up in Ireland so know Dublin quite well which makes it easier. However I would say it is plenty of time even if you don't know the place to have a look around , do some shoppinng and avail of the great local sport of drinking lot's of black stuff    :rotfl:Education is compulsory, school is not.

Savagevixen - as I said earlier we flew to Oslo just before Christmas and it is true that they no onger seat parents with children as a priority (this was still being done earlier in the year when we flew to Girona) - However - I have to say that other passengers told us to go to the front as we had children.
Although it doesnlt appear to be an official policy anymore - at Oslo the staff did tell people with young children to stand in a "queue" after checking boarding passes which gave us slightly more of a chance of getting on early. It really wasn't a huge problem.
It was a Ryanair flight where we were told we had to sit with our children (we were sitting the two children in front and us two behind) and they said we must sit next to the children as it was our responsibility in case of an emergency etc. I think it would be very rare for you to be separated from your children. The best advice would be to ensure that you arrive at the gate early (It is always the farthest away gate with Ryanair in my experience so expect a short hike!!!) and make sure the staff know you are travelling with small children. Good Luck - I am sure you will be fine!! - just use forward planning (as always with children!!) and hopefully it will go as smoothly for you as it always has for us!0 -
Im a single, unemployed mum with 2 small girls. I haven't seen my mum (she's in cambridge, im in scotland) for over a year because it costs too much to travel. But i managed to get us a flight each for 1p (i used electron so no charges).
Because of this, my girls are going to see their Granny! Im so happy!
Thank you to the OP for helping us0 -

a glitch on the ryanair website is allowing users to book free flights (not even taxes to pay)
click this link and enter 123456 as your code
you can then book free flights to any available
destination, provided flights are not booked out.
Only condition is you must travel between 1st to the 8th Feb
hurry before they figure out the problem and fix it!! pas it on!
destinations allowed - some of these are no longer available though
