Whiskas pouches at Mr T's

Well after their emails I had a call from Cust. Services this a.m.
Nice chap said they should have honoured the quanity when they substituted - I said they'd told me yesterday they didn't have to - but he said he'd remind the store of what they needed to do.
I had had £3.49 refunded for the missing box but he emailed a £3 voucher for my trouble -so some good news for me anyway.Great opportunities to help others seldom come, but small ones surround us every day. -- Sally Koch0 -

W@sb@ch might be worth popping in as got two boxes from there last night and when I rang beforehand to check if they had any she said they were getting a delivery that evening. Nb the SEL in this store says £13.99 but scans at £3.49 (or they did yesterday)A home is not a home ..... without a dog0 -
Glitch not working at the cardington Bedford store, tried last night.0

I refused my delivery as it came to £91.70 instead of £39.40 due to the substitutes but as some of them were on 3 for 2, I have made a profit on the refund...

Whiskas Market Produce Dishes In Jelly 48x100g 12 £41.88
Whiskas Market Produce Dishes In Jelly 48x100g 20 £69.80
Whiskas Market Produce Dishes In Jelly 48x100g 1 £3.49
Whiskas Market Produce Dishes In Jelly 48x100g 4 £13.96
Total in my calculations: £129.13
Profit for not having anything: £37.43!
I think the 3 for 2 doesn't get taking into account on a refund by my calculations...0 -
Got two boxes at my local store late last night on way home from work. Only 1 of the 48 packs scanned at £3.49 (beef, chicken etc). the other was scanning at £13.99 (fish I think) as the SEL suggested. Another check on way home tonight for restocked shelves.0

I'm gutted that I have missed out on this offer as I took in a stray female cat 2 weeks ago, and despite all my efforts at finding her previous owner I have heard nothing! I told the RSPCA if no one comes forward I will get her done and then keep her, but I think i'm too late for that as she appears to be eating for more than one!!!!! Still keeping her though.
One of my local stores has a space to stock these, and stilll has the 'mispriced' ! ? SEL, but I don't think they have had any delivered over the last few days. Not sure if I saw a friend of martins also searching for these at just after 9 this morning, had a little chatterbox lad with you at Har-f0rd Br!dge5 store. If I did
anyway, as for that refund.... it looks like they have worked it at todays prices as the Whiskers offer ended last night. Well done, lucky you! :T0 -
thanks missladyann (that's my local store too) x

Going to drop one of my boxes of to the local cats home - good karma and all that!
Yes Tazmac, that is what I have done, the charities are really facing an uphill struggle with so many people dumping and disposing their pets; I would go without myself before I let my animals hungry.0 -
Well another update from Tesco about quantitiesThank you for your reply and I apologise for the delay in getting back to you.
Further to your email, I'm sorry that our *********** store couldn't complete your grocery order. Please let me explain why this happened.
We want to offer all our customers the chance to shop online but we do have to consider any orders that have large quantities of a certain product. This is because we would run out of stock or it could overload our delivery vans.
That's why we introduced our Bulk Buying Policy online and in-store. We have put a 10-item limit on most products, but this can be less if they're on special offer.
Of course, we're always happy to help, so if you need more of a product, please tell us beforehand. Our Store Managers will order more stock if they can, but this is not always possible, depending on the product you're looking for.
Thank you for taking the time to ask me about this.
Kind Regards
Have replied to say I only ordered five boxes of catfood - admittedly they had 48 pouches inside but they were the ones who put the large boxes on the website for us to order.Great opportunities to help others seldom come, but small ones surround us every day. -- Sally Koch0
