Evening all

Had such a frantic day today. Won a bid on a scooter and had to go and pick it up today but it was an hour and a half there and an hour and a half back :eek: I love it although it isn't a folding one it's a midi one and in really good condition, I took it for a test drive when I got home, I just have to watch the width because it is wider than my poor deceased little one.
We are watching a fold up one and then hopefully I can go on trips out of town again. Mind you it will have eaten into the savings quite a bit :eek: So I am leaving the opticians until next month, I can wait for glasses but need the scooters for mobility and my sanity :eek:

Funny old day today, went to a wedding this morning, not as a guest though. Did I ever mention that my OH isn't an OH as in partner, but a friend who also lived on her own so we decided to try sharing a house. It has worked out brilliantly and we have a lot of fun. But the point is that she is a vicar, hence the wedding and other references to churchy things. It makes for an interesting life.

We then went out to lunch with a friend, so another cheap day. I'm doing quite well this week.
Came back and started to empty some kichen cupboards into our newly acquired dresser in the dining room. I now have SPACE in the kitchen. For how long, I ask myself.

Molly: hope you get your news soon and that it is good.
NPM: don't ever complain about thick hair, if it gets too much send some down to me, I could really use it. Enjoy your break this w/e, I can't think of anyone who deserves it more.
Uolypool: Hope you feel better soon, colds make you feel so wretched and never get the sympathy deserved.

Yaaaaay Strictly is back - thats my weekend viewing sorted till christmas!!!

Flutterby - that dress is gorgeous!!! such a good price for a Monsoon dress too

Sorry forgotten who has written what - too excited.... booked a weeks holiday today to Majorca - going 4 weeks today and can't wait - didn't think I would be able to get away this year with all that has happened so really, really excited. Ok off to watch Strictly, have a good evening all

Ds3 came home from work with a box of dairy milk, bottle of lucozade, box of balsam tissues and the latest Fast and furious dvd for me as I was feeling poorly.Love those films I'm afraid. I watched it at the cinema and thought it was great. Don't even feel well enough to watch it tonight:(:(
