I did too - yesterday, I received two emails at the same time. One stated that there might be a delay in shipping, and another saying it was awaiting dispatch.

I think I'll ring them up.

  • Not trying to get anyones hope up but just noticed John Lewis are showing the Touchpads on their website again - albeit out of stock. I wonder if they're expecting more in?

Might be worth checking this link every now and then! ;)

  • Just received mine this morning.
  • Mine came a couple of days ago, and it's already tweaked and modded to be considerably faster than it was out of the box. Makes you wonder why HP didn't do it all in the first place, really.

Props to the original poster, and to the poster of the discount code!

the xoom can be obtained for £287 at costco which makes £250 for the touchpad madness. the xoom is as up to date as you can get in a tablet. its also googles primary development tablet for android updates etc.

the xoom also has a promotion on to get the free keyboard/mouse accessory.

at £89 the touchpad was a bargain - however for £250 its a very expensive tablet with no future.

To be fair... You are going to need to stick on an extra £20 for a case to compare the deals...

£250 vs £307 would be a fair comparison...

I didn't realise you could get it that cheap.

I got a 32g BUNDLE which I am not keeping. Have e-mailed Dixons about returning it but not had a reply. If anyone wants it, please PM me.

(Moderator, if this is against the rules, please remove and accept my apologies.)

And for those who don't know which thread they are in, this thread is titled "HP TOUCHPAD BUNDLE"!!!
