I was about to reply quoting myself from before when Tesco rang me on the phone as a response to a previous complaint (not about the failure to refund the money).

I asked said it would be much better not to get the refund and have the evouchers instead as I could get food and.... they are sending them in email right now!!!!

I am so relieved as I was endlessly stressing over how I would feed my children this week with no money.

Technically... I came up with the idea and asked myself but thank-you to the board for me being able to get that idea out of my head in the first place!!!

I got a duplicate order the next day.. but that meant two payments for groceries had gone out.

i would just wait for your refund , except the voucher they have offered , plus the free delivery and the other £6 you had for your inconvience and let the matter go

No, I think my timeline is coming across wrong now.

Those groceries were charged twice last weekend... so that food fed us this week... then at the end of this week when I expected the money to come back (so that I would have it to buy food for the week to come) it didn't as they didn't process it... meaning I would be waiting until the end of next week to have the money so next week I wouldn't have had food.

Anyhow... sorted now and I am happy.

(And to someone else) I'm not a serial ranting... its just very upsetting to be on a tight budget with all those stresses then have something like this give me a double whammy and be left without. But thankfully it is resolved now.
