Is this high mileage?

That is a non starter, its basically a Toyota. If its been looked after it'll be fine0

It's made in the Czech Republic, so don't let Toyota's recent record put you off.0

There are two ways of looking at this:
1. A car with 100k miles has been reliable and not given much trouble over its four years, and will continue to be reliable.
or
2. 100k miles on such a small car has worn it out and it'll be clapped out.
The choice to make is yours. Remember, small cars do wear much quicker than larger cars as their bits and pieces are smaller and don't stand up to the wear and tear of the roads as well."There are not enough superlatives in the English language to describe a 'Princess Coronation' locomotive in full cry. We shall never see their like again". O S Nock0 -
We've put a lot of mileage on small cars, and they've all lasted well.
Most recent is an old peugeot 106 that's gone from 90k to 160k in 4 years, without anything other than service items, a set of back shocks, and a radiator. (But it was over ten years old)
Not even put a clutch in it.0 -
I've always bought and run high mileage cars (around the 100k mark) and never had undue problems. I do check the model's reputation for reliability/longevity first though.0

I had a 1.1 Fiat Panda CVT (1993 L reg) and did 137k before I got rid of it, basically I got my first job and got something a little comfier for my journeys, and it was fine but I did used to keep it well maintained. It was still going for a few years after I got rid.
I also did similar miles in a Punto JTD but that was a larger (1.9) diesel engine. Sold it on for 1300 quid when it was 6 years old, only paid 6k for it brand new so it was good value and never had any problems with it apart from tyres and servicing (original exhaust as well!)0 -
I would like to add something else into the pot. At £1000 savings over the lower mileage ones, even if the engine goes bang you can buy and fit a reconditioned engine for one of those for £1000. You would then have a car with effectively a new engine.0

Its a toyota as long as it been looked after it will be fine to drive, as long as its had its servicing.0

My fatherin-law had a C1 and I thought it was a horrible little car to drive - are you sure you really want one?I used to think that good grammar is important, but now I know that good wine is importanter.0
