I plan to buy some vinegar as a fabric conditioner, do i ad this to the drawer before the final rinse and how much?

Can vinegar be added to a normal was or just as a FB.

    Laundry Hints

    Soft fluffy woolens
2 cups of white vinegar added to a washer tub of water will make a good rinse for both cotton and wool - leaves them free of soap odour and soft and fluffy as new.

    Scorch marks:
Lightly rub white vinegar on fabric that has been slightly scorched. Wipe with a clean cloth.

    Deodorant stains:
To get rid of stains left by deodorants and anti-perspirants on washables, lightly rub with white vinegar and then launder as usual.

    Hi

Have no idea what FB is but just wanted to say that you shouldn't get splashed if you open the powder drawer mid-wash

As for the amount - does your powder drawer have a conditioner section with a fill level indicated.

I wouldn't use 2 cups (one cup is 240ml) and am wondering if the advice above originally came from an american site? In the USA top-loading machines are common and they use a LOT more water and perhaps conditioner too.

Sorry i meant FC (fabric cond), yes it does have a middle section with a plastic level indicator. Do i just put the vinegar in here upto the level before the final rinse.

    Thanks

Gosh using that amount you would only get a couple of washes out of a bottle of vinegar. I just shake it in like I was putting it on my chips!! I probably use about just under half an egg cup full. I find that fine
  • When do i put this in the draw?
