  • if you take her then promise one thing, you will buy the dvd and in however many years time when she brings a boyfriend home, put the dvd on :D

i would call it payback for having to put up with jls, if i ever have children they will be educated in rock/indie/metal before they are old enough to walk :D
Who remembers when X Factor was just Roman suncream?

lol oh god if my mum had ever done that to me, I would be mortified, it would be all Rick Astley, Bros and Pj & Duncan!!PMSL!!
She loves the Adele Cd, and my Script cd so maybe her taste isnt all that bad! I blame myself for her obsession with music, I took her to a Pink concert before she was born, and sang to my bump daily!!lol

  • We took both our girls to see Busted when the youngest was 5. At great inconvenience and expense I might add. The eldest loved it, the youngest saw the support act and about 10 mins of Busted, then fell asleep on my knee so I couldnt see either. Though maybe that was a blessing. So I would say no, but not for killjoy reasons, simply because its probably going to be a waste of dosh.

I think that a trip to the theatre would be more age-appropriate than a pop-concert for a 5-year-old. I personally wouldn't take any of my kids until they were around 10-years-old.

Hi we normally go to a small local theatre about twice a month, where they do little productions for kids. We've also been to the pantomime every year since she was 2, and didnt mind the (very loud) noise and the crowds, which made me think she would cope with that side of the concert. However for other reasons we are not going this time!

  • We took an 8 and 5 year old to see the x-factor tour earlier this year in the O2 arena, they had a great time, it was an afternoon performance though, may have thought twice if it had only been in the evening, but had no problem with the noise.
