Phone contract

why is it that you get sold a 24month contract by ABOUTCOMMS for a three business network phone with £240 cashback for the first year and the same cashback for the second year, i check this at the time and get a nice e-mail confirming, yes i am correct (too good to be true comes to mind).
Then yesterday they say oh actually on your contract sent out when you got the phone it says 4 payments of £60 for the first year and nothing for the second year. The letter i got sent with the phone clearly states two lots of £240, and the contract i was sent to have a look at is not one i have seen before and is from ADVANCED DATA NETWORKS , is this the new name for ABOUTCOMMS .
Three business support are supposed to be looking into it , i phoned yesterday to see how they were getting on with it only to be asked to send the original e-mails from ABOUTCOMMS onto them. why didnt they ask me to do this weeks ago when i informed them i was having this problem in the first place, looks like they have done not a great deal so far.
Does anyone know where i stand with this as i feel i have been stitched up, thanks.

Just google "Aboutcomms" and you will see you are not alone. Just one example http://www.consumeractiongroup.co.uk/forum/showthread.php?301165-Anyone-had-problems-with-orange-suppliers-Geko-and-Aboutcomms

Chances are that this company, if not already going into administration, might do so when sufficient customers take them to court for not following their contract.
Not the first "too good to be true" mobile company to renege or go bust.
Maybe the network might step into the ring to help , but they have no legal obligation to do so.0 -
thanks GUYSDAD for your response, it seems wrong that they can get away without paying and that you would still be held to a contract that you had actually been missold as you are not getting what you were told you would be getting, thanks again for your reply, Andy0
