i only do it part-time as im a full-time student but i earn more than i would any other part-time student job and i enjoy working for myself as opposed to working to line someone elses pockets (btw, before anyone says owt, i am registered and pay my tax and ni!). i sell beauty stuff and accessories and use teh cosmetic/accessory wholesalers in manchester (theres tonnes of them in cheetham hill and near the old boddies factory). i also do markets and carboots in spring and summer and in teh run-up to christmas.:T The best things in life are FREE! :T0

There are LOADS of wholesalers in Cheetham Hill ... I love going down there having a nosey sometimes ... I've not spotted my 'niche' in the market yet. I hope you're doing well :beer:0 -

i love goign down there too, tonnes arent there? my niche is teh higher-end stuff, i get it as cheap as poss then my customers get a better deal and so do i hehe! good luck in finding yours

Who said anything about the receipts being for my Ebay trading?
My main line of work is something completely different and nothing to do with Ebay and as I'm self-employed then things like B&Q tool receipts are very handy for reducing my tax bill!

That seems a bit harsh? Has Snooze Control said something to annoy you? Aren't people entitled to their own opinions, even the ones you might not agree with?0 -

not me eithere, I sell stuff and then find out I have not charged enough postage!!! I also now have an ongoing dispute about a parcel that did not turn up. I have proof of postage but the hassle is just not worth it. I will car boot again in the summer - I only sell what I no longer need.

He/she is annoyed because they got the wrong end of the stick and jumped to (wrong) conclusions. Most people would have just admitted they got it wrong, held their hand up and apologised but ....
