Hi
I bought a phone 2 weeks ago and it was faulty. So i took it back, no issue.

When i looked a the orginal receipt i noticed tescos had put "after 28 days you cant return it to the store". Can they do this. I always thought if its faulty, you can, but they say you cant.
Is it legal?
I buy alot of electrics from them and never noticed that so i just want to know where i stand/

After 28 days, they repair it if it's faulty.

If I tell you who I work for, I'm not allowed to help you. If I don't say, then I can help you with questions and fixing products. Regardless, there's still no secret EU law.

Is the 28 days referring to a "no quibble return" policy (change of mind), or a fault returns policy?

Yep, they normally send out a jiffy bag for you to send the phone to their repair centre

But I thought we established here that there was not a fault with your phone.

As mentioned in an earlier post, that 28 days is in addition to your statutory rights.
I.e. if you change your mind.
