Hi
I bought a phone 2 weeks ago and it was faulty. So i took it back, no issue.
When i looked a the orginal receipt i noticed tescos had put "after 28 days you cant return it to the store". Can they do this. I always thought if its faulty, you can, but they say you cant.
Is it legal?
I buy alot of electrics from them and never noticed that so i just want to know where i stand/

After 28 days, they repair it if it's faulty.Squirrel! If I tell you who I work for, I'm not allowed to help you. If I don't say, then I can help you with questions and fixing products. Regardless, there's still no secret EU law.
Now 20% cooler0 -
Ahh, so id have to call them to arrange to pick it up?0

Is the 28 days referring to a "no quibble return" policy (change of mind), or a fault returns policy?0

Yep, they normally send out a jiffy bag for you to send the phone to their repair centreSquirrel! If I tell you who I work for, I'm not allowed to help you. If I don't say, then I can help you with questions and fixing products. Regardless, there's still no secret EU law.

As mentioned in an earlier post, that 28 days is in addition to your statutory rights. When i looked a the orginal receipt i noticed tescos had put "after 28 days you cant return it to the store". Can they do this. I always thought if its faulty, you can, but they say you cant.

I.e. if you change your mind.0
