We were down just over £400 at the start of the week(4 weekly payments)
I've tried to phone everyday this week and still not got through. still sat on hold as I type.
oh just got through!! next payment 4th Oct with the revised amount no payment in between to make that money up :-((
Just annoys me that I have had to pay out loads at the start of term (new dress code of suits for 6 formers, even tesco's etc are not as cheap as a uniform !!)
hey ho very annoying but nothing I can do :-(:beer:0

We have been down £100 over the last two weeks, really annoying as I wrote to them and then rang to confirm my daughter was staying at school.
I have tried to phone everyday too, just can't get through. Just going to leave it now and hope it is sorted out over the next few weeks.0

I had my award letter yesterday. Appears the missing money will be spread over the rest of the year, but my payments will now be £3 a week less than before
Its a strange old system, but one im grateful for so im not complaining 0 0

Coffeandfags - the same thing happened to me last year too.
My Daughter was staying on at school and at the end of August I was £100 down on my tax credits (the amount was so high because I received a disability premium for her too) I phoned tco and they told me not to worry because my payments would only be incorrect for 1 week and that I would receive the £100 back.
The following week I received £11 less per week than my usual award and this continued for the remainder of the year.
Tco maintained that even though I had missed a £100 payment and my future payments had went down by £11 that I was still receiving the same amount of money over the course of the year....
:rotfl:I never did figure that one out , however , as you say I was very greatful for the tc's I was receiving so I just let it go.The loopy one has gone :j0

Well just wasted a lot of time with a calculator and the figures do add up, I just don't understand how! I'm slightly niggled by the fact they have not paid anything for DD from the 1st to 4th september - her payments are for 215 days whereas her sisters are 218. She went back to school on the 2nd!
Would all be simpler for my budget if they just accepted your child was going back worked on that on the first award.
Hopefully should be a lot less hassle when next dd turns 16 as she is the first year that has to compulsory stay on till their 18.LBM April 2011 £4906
