Now you are putting words in my mouth. :rotfl: IMHO tenants are people and no more prone to telling lies than any other section of the community. I may be an owner now but I am no more (or less) honest than when I was a tenant.

Rent received this morning, appears that tenant paid rent late, then this was made later by it taking 7 days for it to transfer from Clydesdale to myself.
Think she has been thoroughly embarrassed in front of her peers, but I spoke to them all today and assured them there would be no reprecussions from me.
I agree both tenants and landlords lie. I just felt upset that they were accusing me of 'stealing' from them.
I did believe that they had transferred the money, they were very plausible I was imagining it being 'lost' in the internet (probably due to a number wrong in the a/c number, sort code.) Thankfully this is not the caseOPs so far £42,139
