Hi just wanted to say hello to you.

Well done you on staying so focused I am finding it really difficult at the moment as it is the beginning and we have made lots of PLANS but nothing has changed yet.

I am finding you strength to keep focused very inspiring and will also be watching your progress with interest.

 Awww. thank you silkglade this diary of drivel really keeps me sane and motivated. I know no one is really checking up on me but if I pretend they are it keeps me going.

I know what you mean about planning and doing it's really hard to adjust. I'm driving my family mad with constant lists of incommings, outgoings, budgets etc. I even list every item in the freezer on Mondays ready for shopping.

The two challenges on here I've found most useful is the grocery challenge and payment a day. I'm only paying around £1 a day extra off my debts at the moment but sending it to them everyday makes me feel like i'm actually doing something and I get a bit of satisfaction knowing i'm annoying the hell out of them with loads of little payments.

Good luck with your journey it does start to get easier as you go along x

    Evening diary.

Not been well over the last couple of days I caught the bug that my OH and youngest had, inevitable really but starting to feel better again tonight. My eldest must really have a good immune system because he seems to have missed it completely(fingers crossed!)

Mum came up this afternoon baring the usual random gifts, this time from sorting out the kitchen cupboards in preparation for her new one. I must point out that as random as mum is she is brilliant with it. Today's gifts were an original Tupperware party platter with lid and carry handle and a food processor:T.

On top of these she said "i thought you might like to borrow this book it was your grandmothers" when i looked it was the making wine book my grandma used since before my mother was born! She was well known in the family for wine making and all the recipes in the book are very frugal and simple to follow.

Off to change the Tesco delivery to include a fair bit more sugar so i can start making rice wine and bread champagne this week.

Feeling really positive today, not sure why but quite eager to get the house ship shape and hopefully there will be some work online later.

Made a bit of a dent in the debt too this morning my delivery money has gone in the bank so paid £56.10 of it off the debt, leaving enough to tide us over till next pay day. Still waiting for my wages from job 1, the problem with this one is that i'm never quite sure when it will arrive in the bank each month but it is due sometime this week.

It's the OH's birthday today and should really make him something nice for tea, although as the Tesco delivery doesn't arrive till tomorrow we are rather short on fruit/ veg or anything that belongs in a fridge, so will have to stick my head in the freezer later.

Enough rambling on anyway must get my bum off the chair and get started!

Managed to get the house ship shape yesterday barring my office which is still a mess and is on the list for today.
OH's birthday tea consisted of HM chicken and leek pie made from leftover chicken from Sunday and a giant chocolate cake for dessert. He seemed really happy with that and it only cost a small amount for a pack of leeks and some chocolate buttons from my personal spends.

Were both getting increasingly stressed out with our eldests behaviour, he as been on the waiting list for an autism assesment for over a year but this last few months i think his testosterone has kicked in and made him even worse. Even the dog hides behind the chair in the morning now when he comes down stairs. So making yet another appointment with the doctor for him is this mornings priority.

On a positive note the finances are doing well, still out of the overdraft and paid another £10.11 of the dreaded credit card this morning.

    Jobs for today;

Phone doctors re appointment about assesment for eldest
Take youngest for his pre op scans
Try to catch up on work hours
Clean and tidy [STRIKE]pig sty[/STRIKE] office
Collect up all the clean washing that is scattered all over the upstairs before eldest gets home and has chance to throw it all over the house agian.
Get the above sorted in to piles re-ironed and put away.

Really productive day today, Have completed my maximum contracted hours for work this week and just sent an e-mail to see if I can get some overtime. Managed another ten pounds odd off the CC and hopefully will be able to do that daily for the next few days.

Most happy with the fact we have gotten to the bottom of DS's behavior recently, not only is he being bullied again, but he feels like he is really struggling with school work. No wonder he has been playing up at home bless him. Managed to make an appointment with the relevant people at school and hopefully try and make it a bit easier for him.

Off to have a browse around the boards and see what bargains are to be had.

    Woohoo it's Friday!

Managed to stay away from the shops all week apart from the main shop on Tuesday, need milk and bread today and I'm gonna treat myself to a cheepo bottle of wine for being so good.

Finally got paid for last month today and managed to put a whopping £244.60 into the Christmas savings account so can buy the boys their presents. :T

Still paying roughly £10 a day to the lowest CC and if I can carry on then this one will be paid off before Christmas, however this is a BIG IF because after next week not quite sure where the extra repayment money is coming from. I may have to have another sort out for eBay and get the rag collector to do a collection, since hearing about it I have been hoarding everything remotely fabric and have at least 10 bags full.

still no news on the extra overtime so I'm guessing their answer is no. Never mind off to clean the upstairs and rummage in cupboards to see what I can find.

    Morning diary,
All is still going well here, payments are slowly making the debt total go down. Though still no ebaying done this week. Busy trying to reach the maximum hours at work around my voluntary jobs.

Started on the Christmas shopping have one son's presents done, 3 nieces and nephews bought and enough stuff to make 6 snowman soups as stocking fillers. Just got to figure out what to get everyone else.

0% interest runs out on CC 1 on the 11th of next month and it's playing on my mind a bit so really need to make some extra pounds before then.

    I TAKE IT ALL BACK!
    ALL IS NOT WELL!

Just tried logging in for work and apparently i am suspended awaiting a review ARRRGGHH! Loosing my job is the last thing we need right now, I'm actually really upset by it and if other forum posts about this company are true i wont be working for them again.
It was only meant to be a stop gap till I go to uni next year but it's money we really needed.

I will have to have a sit down and seriously think how we are going to do this and re-budget everything out. Luckily I get paid a couple of months behind so will still get wages up to Christmas, however more of these need to go on the debts now to make after Christmas easier without that wage.

Thought we were cutting back now, think the next few months are going to have to be cut back even more. :(
