Search Engine Easy

  • I always thought the company Search Engine Easy would be like other company I've had experience with based on false promise of 1st page of Google. However, I still decided to continue and go ahead with their 30 days trial in order to make sure 100% if their service is as advertised. Based on my opinion and experience I found that the company and their tech team had kept me updated and helped me when I couldn't see my searched phrases. Their service has been excellent and although I didn't get enough traffic through to the website the service they offer is as advertised (its says whats on the tin). I'm still unsure if it is value for money but I may decide to select a few more keywords for UK national campaign and see how it goes for the next month. I'll keep posting up here with results and progress so I can share my experience and opinion with everyone.

I've just signed up to Search Engine Easy and I must say they are a total scammers. Stay well away from them. I agreed 5 key phrases for London area for bedding products with the sales guy who was very pushy to get the sales done. However, when the tech team called me up to set this, they advised me that they couldn't do those keywords as they're too competitive. I had to send out email conversation as a proof that this was part of the conversation I had with the sales guy. Cutting long story short I agreed on 5 alternative keywords. The ad was set and I could see the visibility of the ad for only about 3 hours. However, it seems the way Search Engine Easy work is that they set a budget for the ad per day as I've not been able to see my ad since Friday. Been up for about 24 hours and still no ad shown and print screen shots have been taken by the hour. They claim that your ad will be on Google first page, but what they don't say is that it will be there for 24 hours for 30 days. They sales guy will say it on the phone but will never confirm this in writing so you're in a way messed up if you sign up to their service. Instead once the budget which they've set up have been used, you no longer see the ad. I probably think I get around 2 clicks and there goes my add out of Google. I could have set adword up myself instead of paying these scammers. Stay well away and its better to focus on SEO and using your hard earned cash with reputable company. I've learned the hard way that if something is too good to be true then stay well away. I'll be pursuing refund and will make sure I get this even if I have to go through Small Claims Court. I prefer to give all my money out to someone if there is honesty, but there are some greedy scammers who would do anything to get your cash.

Above all, this is just my experience and opinion of what I've been through. You can try them out only to find it'll be waste of money. Anyone else have had similar experience?

  • Hi guys,

I used this thread to make my decision as to whether or not to use Search Engine Easy and after quite an extensive search online I couldnt find (much) dirt on the company as far as their claims go.

Yes, they can be a tad pushy and talk and talk and talk, but I think this is because they have a sheet to read (in sales) and want to get all the info out as quickly as possible. I worked in a sales office when I was younger and all I was bothered about was the amount of calls that turned in to actual sales, not only that, I had to put up with a lot of abuse and people not really listening to what I had to say etc... So I can understand why they blurt out as much info as they do, they have probably got a manager on their back telling them to convert sales or lose their jobs...

Anyway, back on point, I am currently using them for my photography business (David Charles Photography & AV) and after talking with the helpful sales chap (after he had given me his spiel) I managed to ask the right questions and get substantial answers, even when he couldnt answer a question he passed me on to his manager who was more than happy to help me.

I (for safety reasons) asked if I could find their company online, get the number and call them back before giving my card details over the phone, they were fine with that and understood my caution.

I called back and paid the £99 for 5 x adwords and within 12 hours (the next morning) my new "account manager" had called me back to discuss the adword phrases I had chosen and she gave me feedback as to why some of them were a good choice and why some of them were either too generic and/or not really relevant.

A few hours after the phone call I am situated on Googles first page either in the sponsored adds at the right hand side, the sponsored adds at the top of the page and/or the first page generally (depending how "in demand your phrases are)

I have no secret in telling you that I used the following phrases of which you can search for yourself to see if they work.

    Wedding photographer Leeds
    Photographer Leeds
    Cheap wedding photographer Leeds
    Wedding photographer York
    Wedding Photographer Harrogate

These seemed like the most likely phrases an individual would type when searching google for a wedding photographer.

I am so far very pleased with the service they have offered and I will check back with you in a month or so's time to let you know how it has gone. After all, its pointless paying for adwords (even if the service you are getting is good) if it doesnt generate you any business. Which of course is not Search Engine Easy's fault...

I would also like to quantify that I am a legitimate customer of theirs, just search David Charles Photography and AV Leeds and send me a message via the contact us form or call me, I will be more than happy to respond.

I rarely post on forums like this (usually just use them to obtain information for a question somebody else has already asked) but I felt that I had to share my experience.

As previously said, if the service they are offering drops, or they do not perform in any way shape or form, I will be straight back on here with an update for you guys....

    I hope this helps...

Have you stopped advertising with them now?
I can't see you for any of the listings mentioned.
