I love all the one-post-wonders on this thread extolling the wonders of their rubbish website.0

Call this morning from an extremely rude, arrogant and obnoxious individual claiming to be from these people.
Why pay these people to do something for you that you can (1) - Do yourself, (2) - Is not technically difficult & (3) - They are taking money from people for effectively sitting in front of a screen and adding in words for you.
They may be able to get the words per click a bit cheaper in bulk but if you're sensible about your adwords (if you chose to use them) then you can limit them to your own area, age, specific word and also to a specific client base.
If you have a web site, firstly make sure you have the keywords and meta tags correctly applied, plenty of help out on the web to assist if you need it.
Then, ensure you use appropriate words and content on your web site to target the specific catchment you're looking for.
E.g. Photography in Lancashire / Cheshire / Manchester (these are very broad areas and need to be more related to your local vicinity - i'm using general terms). Use your web site to place information about yourself, describe your service, use customer / client testimonials and link to other web sites.
Most importantly, search engines "crawl" web sites and look for changes and when doing so the more relevant the change is to specific words within your web site and those words most being searched for on Google / Bing etc will move you up the rankings.
Make sure you blog, talk about your company, your day, if you visited somewhere in the local vicinity you're targeting etc... Every single word that can be seen by search engines are indexed on your pages. Don't fall into the trap of trying to hide words, it only makes things worse!
Bottom line, do not go anywhere near people like Search Engine Easy.
searchengineeasy.com
I am adding in their link so that this post will be indexed and every person who searches for them will start to see the whole thread. Only I can't link as I'm a new user but I think I have made my point. Perhaps i'll blog about them on my web site....!
Good luck all.

"If you have a web site, firstly make sure you have the keywords and meta tags correctly applied"
Are you seriously suggesting people bother with the Meta keyword tag in 2013?0 -
Hi _Andy_
I'm perhaps not as techy as you / others on here. It was just a comment meant to help, if tags and keywords done help then so be it, the point of the post was to make people aware they don't need to use Search Engine Easy...
Thanks,
Chris0 -
All this site seems to do is run your adwords, which anyone can do themselves with a Google account anyway. I don't get what they are actually offering that you couldn't do yourself0

Hi guys,
I used this thread to make my decision as to whether or not to use Search Engine Easy and after quite an extensive search online I couldnt find (much) dirt on the company as far as their claims go.
Yes, they can be a tad pushy and talk and talk and talk, but I think this is because they have a sheet to read (in sales) and want to get all the info out as quickly as possible. I worked in a sales office when I was younger and all I was bothered about was the amount of calls that turned in to actual sales, not only that, I had to put up with a lot of abuse and people not really listening to what I had to say etc... So I can understand why they blurt out as much info as they do, they have probably got a manager on their back telling them to convert sales or lose their jobs...
Anyway, back on point, I am currently using them for my photography business (David Charles Photography & AV) and after talking with the helpful sales chap (after he had given me his spiel) I managed to ask the right questions and get substantial answers, even when he couldnt answer a question he passed me on to his manager who was more than happy to help me.
I (for safety reasons) asked if I could find their company online, get the number and call them back before giving my card details over the phone, they were fine with that and understood my caution.
I called back and paid the £99 for 5 x adwords and within 12 hours (the next morning) my new "account manager" had called me back to discuss the adword phrases I had chosen and she gave me feedback as to why some of them were a good choice and why some of them were either too generic and/or not really relevant.
A few hours after the phone call I am situated on Googles first page either in the sponsored adds at the right hand side, the sponsored adds at the top of the page and/or the first page generally (depending how "in demand your phrases are)
I have no secret in telling you that I used the following phrases of which you can search for yourself to see if they work.
Wedding photographer Leeds
Photographer Leeds
Cheap wedding photographer Leeds
Wedding photographer York
Wedding Photographer Harrogate
These seemed like the most likely phrases an individual would type when searching google for a wedding photographer.
I am so far very pleased with the service they have offered and I will check back with you in a month or so's time to let you know how it has gone. After all, its pointless paying for adwords (even if the service you are getting is good) if it doesnt generate you any business. Which of course is not Search Engine Easy's fault...
I would also like to quantify that I am a legitimate customer of theirs, just search David Charles Photography and AV Leeds and send me a message via the contact us form or call me, I will be more than happy to respond.
I rarely post on forums like this (usually just use them to obtain information for a question somebody else has already asked) but I felt that I had to share my experience.
As previously said, if the service they are offering drops, or they do not perform in any way shape or form, I will be straight back on here with an update for you guys....
I hope this helps...0 -

They explained to me that to bid for the first page (in sponsored too) would cost far more than £99 per month.... I know this as I spent well over £2000 trying to achieve the same result, its probably due to the demand in the business I am running as Photography professionals have to bid higher and higher in google to get above the competition...0 -

I have previously used adwords but found it too expensive. I'm a one man band operation so seo is all down to me, and to be honest I'm not very good at it!
I was contacted by Search Engine Easy yesterday. They were polite, not too pushy and you don't sign up for more than a month.
If this company can drive more traffic to my website based on search terms I'm already using then they'll be worth the money - £100 per month is less than I spent in my prev adwords campaigns.
I'll give them a try for a month and - if I remember (I might just be snowed under with work) - I'll come back here and let you know how I got on.
Cheers all,
Peter

Hi
I have used your key words to find you on Google but cannot find you on page 1.
Have you stopped using the company now?0
