Broken phone

if i called a broken phone it could be in 2 or 10 peices would it ring?

But you are already in a contract anyway-breaking your phone doesn't void your contract. You will be paying the monthly fee until the end of the minimum term regardless, so without a replacement or repair, you will be getting nothing for your money.
Have you checked if it's covered under your home contents insurance?
