Groupon Silentnight (sleepltd) mattress topper

Hi,
Firstly yes i am a new user and yes i joined specifically to ask this question and/or get feedback.
I purchased a deal on groupon (my only one purchased and never again) for the silentnight mattress topper for £59. Reedemed on 15th August and told up to 14 days for delivery.
So, now 21 days later - emailed Sleepltd (the company that voucher was for) 5 times so far, with no reply. Phone number takes you to recorded voicemail system saying message system for 'test phone' (???) is full. Have also emailed groupon, got standard automated reply but then nothing. Also tried to call groupon but just get stuck on hold for hours.
I think this looks dodgy, again, and should not have fell for it! i followed the Clouds memory foam debacle threads on here and hotukdeals previously.
Sleepltd website looks legit and it appears they have traded before, but surely im not the only one out of 10,000 who bought the topper deal who is wondering where the goods are?
Anyone else seen/heard anything?

I also bought one, have also emailed Groupon and am still awaiting replies. I'm also now a little worried...!

I called up Groupon this morning to enquire and they informed me that they dont hold any information on the status of the actual orders so you (we) need to enquire with Sleep Ltd. The number she gave me is different to the one online, its 0800 612 4530. I tried it earlier but no answer, but it was quite early so the office might not have been open in fairness.

I didnt have that number so have made a note, just called it and it rang and rang....left it ringing for 2 mins and no answer
It is strange as sleep ltd is easily found on the internet with seemingly a history of selling products, under that name and others. Theyre also behind a new offer (another groupon i think) which is silentnight mem foam mattresses, that started last week i think.
i guess can only keep chasing them, one thing is for sure i wont be buying any more groupon offers!0 -

I had started to be worried about this deal myself, so much so spent my lunchtime looking at this forum and others and then trying to contact Groupon & the company supplying the topper.
Believe it or not I was on hold to groupon for about 25minutes when my door bell rang.....IT WAS THE GOODS !!
Mattress topper is in a silent night bag etc, but have not opened yet. I am amazed I had just about decided to contact my credit card company to cancel payment.

Thanks Pete (great name by the way!), nice to hear that someone has received one. My suspicion is that they've massively underestimated demand and are now struggling to fulfill. Not great to keep everyone guessing however.
Here's hoping mine will be here soon. Please let us know if the final product is actually any good!!0 -

I bought a Groupon voucher for this deal on Saturday 3rd Sept., and all day today the vendor website has been telling me the Groupon voucher code is invalid!
Anyone else having this problem? It is getting me really worried. The deal became 'active' at 6pm last night (5 September).

Hi Becky, I think the voucher you have bought is for their new offer - for the silentnight mem foam mattress (not topper) - its with the same company, sleepltd. If i remember rightly the voucher doesnt activate till the 8th or something - have a look in the small print.

It's definitely the Memory Foam Mattress Topper from Silentnight, which says a £199 'value but that's for the king size only (I would select a smaller one but still the same Groupon price of £59 which is fine). It says"Voucher activates on Mon 5 September 2011 at 6pm. " I got a confirmation of my order, etc.
(sorry but I can't get the font to go back to normal!)
I did get a 2nd email which reiterated "up to 28 days for delivery" and even from that link I am getting no love. It's the same voucher code; I wonder if they weren't supposed to send a new one?
I am going to try the free phone number someone else found.
Very frustrating! I appreciate your help immensely though.

I also bought this deal and have been very concerned about where my order is!!
I found the number you were given (0800 612 4530) through following the groupon links - on one page they refer to sleep ltd and on another page they refer to uk bedding!!! so I tried both numbers... no luck with sleep ltd, and with UK bedding, it rang for about 7 or 8 minutes before a very un-interested guy picked up the phone! Apparently they are experiencing high call volumes and someone will ring me back... but that's also what they told me two days ago!!!!!!!!
Groupon have been just as useful... I can't get through to them and it will take up to a week for a response to my email. How very annoying!!
Anyway, the point I came here to make is that if you keep on the phone on that number (0800 612 4530) they will pick up EVENTUALLY but don't expect any help or answers!

Hi,
not much to add to be honest but to add that I am another first time Groupon user and expected the mattress topper a week ago at the latest.
Trying to speak with Groupon is impossible and their automated response implies they know it will be forever (or never) that they actually get back to you.
I will sit tight and hope the delivery van that turned up for one forum user makes its way towards manchester tomorrow!!!
