The daftest / most surreal question I have ever been asked when selling was "How many people have used your toilet?"
(The bathroom and toilet like the rest of the house were spotless, I had cleaned for the viewing)0 -
I had a buyer who asked about how much to expect for heating, electricity bills ect. Then he asked me how much the phone bill would be.......he seemed a bit puzzled when I told him it really depends on how much you use the phone!
The guy that bought our last house asked how much the heating and electricity was0 -
When I was showing around my second floor flat, a potential buyer asked me how she would dry her clothes without a garden.
I said she could hang them in the balcony (which was huge), or buy a drier (kitchen was big enough to fit one in).
She left the flat saying "hmm... not sure I want to do that" Goodness know why she came to view a top floor flat?
You should have turfed her out! :rotfl:0 -
A prospective EA asked me "Is the lounge laminated?". OH and I still laugh over that whenever we're in B & Q.3.9kWp solar PV installed 21 Sept 2011, due S and 42° roof.
17,011kWh generated as at 30 September 2016 - system has now paid for itself. :beer:0 -

I always ask thatI ask them how much they pay in summer and winter and whether they work from home or not. It helps me get an idea of how much the bills will be.
I didn't think it was a daft questionIf you always do what you have always done, you will always get what you always got!0
