HMV Purehmv points card - WARNING

I purchased my card just a couple of days before our local store closed. So the card which cost me money to buy has remained unused since. Well now, apparently the points are about to expire.
So I paid my £3 for absolutely nothing, there isn't even a local store if I can use it in!0 -
I was also misled into paying £3 for a purehmv card -this was at HMV's Croydon store in March 2012. I did not know £3 was being added to my bill for a CD. I ordered CDs from HMV online this month, Nov 2012, and when I entered my purehmv card number on the form it was rejected. This card is no use to me whatsoever. I cannot even log in with it to HMV - I have the right password - maybe the scheme is closed.0
