    There is the risk that anyone seeing that the children are naked would think there is a good chance they are not being supervised properly and so make an abduction easier.

    I was almost abducted outside my Grandads house when I was 4, only reason why I'm probably still around is the deaf & dumb girl who was playing outside with me, had a hold of my legs and wouldn't let go (she was about 13)

    Even with that, I still do think people are p33do crazy, everyone seems to think that their child will get abducted the second they are out of their line of sight.

    I used to walk to school myself at 5, I think it's weird seeing parents taking their 10year olds to school, especially when there is no roads to cross.

    Also, I think there is probably LESS of it these days, because as someone else has pointed out, the internet and its vile pictures are accessible to these sorts, and they probably get errrr satisfaction?? from that, instead of nipping down to the nearest park to see what's on offer.

    OP I do think you have over reacted, but then we all do at various points in our lives.
