I want to sell but I need something else, we have just discovered that we have no "good" schools for our daughter to go to and this is what has really caused me to realise what has happened here. I need a place to live, I don't want to rent as then all of this has been a waste of time, the idea was to make a start. But it seems I may end up going backwards now :-/
All you've done is rent though. You rented 75% from the HA and 25% from the mortgage company. In 3 years you'll have chopped next to nothing off the mortgage debt.
On top of that you were presumably responsible for all maintenance - so you got a worse deal than you would have from renting.

I could rent yes, but I would like to get rid of this becfore things get even worse, it seems people know about this scam now and hence wont buy it off me.
