It just so happens that the H&B goods that I bought were split into different shopping trips and also from different stores! Therefore, the assumptions that you made were NOT correct! Calling people you know nothing about 'greedy' or anything else for that matter is out of line and I would appreciate it if you would keep them to yourself!

Anyone reading post 1236 would have also assumed that it was one big shop.

Then to ask for more vouchers as you were desperate - sorry if it offends you but it is greed in my book.

Can you tell me where about in my post did I say that I was desperate? I asked if any one had any that they didn't need or want just like many other people on this thread!

Calling people you know nothing about 'greedy' or anything else for that matter is out of line and I would appreciate it if you would keep them to yourself! I am not a 'Professional', just a disabled mother of 3, who is trying to save a few quid in the long run but putting things away for a time when I don't have the money to buy them! If that makes me greedy, then you are right and I have not one to blame but myself! But one the other hand how many people have you seen writing on here that they have 50 bottles of shampoo, 50 cans of Slimfast and 20 hand washes etc. The items that I have in my cupboard will maybe see me through the next couple of months but that is it, I am not one of the people on here that is selling my items to shops or friends or have that many that I can give them away free to charity.

So why not think on before you label someone that you do not know and know absolutely nothing about and once you have done that then maybe you could try looking in the mirror and ask yourself what might other people assume about you that is not true and could sometimes be downright hurtful and then you might not be so quick to judge other people by your own standards!!! I rest my case!

As it happens I now have some QK vouchers that I will not be using so if anyone would like some of them just PM me with your address. Please don't worry about being labelled as greedy as I try not to judge people that I don't know!

Unfortunately this is possibly how got you caught.

The transcation will have been noticed, and then traced back to you through your clubcard details.

Clubcard is a Tesco Identity Card, experienced RandRers never use it. I and others have received national bans from HO , through so called "policy abuse".

Had you not used it, they would have had no concrete evidence that the person who did that transaction was actually "you".
    Couponing....."every little hurts"

Half of the people can be part right all of the time, Some of the people can be all right part of the time.
But all the people can't be all right all the time. .........I think Abraham Lincoln said that.

  • Leadhead-how would they enforce a national ban?? surely you still shop at Tesco?? - did they warn you or just BAN you from shopping at any Tesco?? It's a bit worrying - think I'll use my vouchers sparingly!!

    Hi All
I think we should all stop getting so upset about how much people are buying. I have been regularly using both H & B AND Quit It Vouchers since this thread began. Last week I sent Quit it vouchers to about 7 people as I managed to get some extra ones from my local store. I have got a lot of stuff but dont feel guilty as my son and daughter are both about to set up home and I am collecting things for them as well as for myself. I also have a lot of Boots things aswell. These large companies would not give out these tokens if they did not expect people to spend them!! Lets all be nice to each other about this and try not to judge people. This is all a harmless piece of fun for everyone and I for one am really pleased when I get home with my bargains. The people being greedy here are the ones selling their vouchers on E-Bay!!

Hope this is taken in the manner intended .... :o

What has happened to Angecull' may be a lesson for everybody not to "Over do it" regarding Tesco's own coupons ...

I enjoy a bargain like everybody else ... however it likely rings big bells @ Tescolditz when people run through dozens of coupons in consecutive shops ...

None of us surely wish to be banned ... I personally would be horrified and embarrassed ... so I use them occasionally but not to an extreme ... you only need so much Shampoo ... ;)

Let's hope we can all stay the right side of Tescon's ... and proceed with Caution!

  • now I'm slightly concerned I've been to tesco this morning and bought
    2xplax 2.88each(BOGOF)
    2xcondoms 7.98each(BOGOF)
    paracetamol 16p

    I used 2x £1 plax coupon
    2x £2 quit healthcare
    1x£1.25 quit beauty
    1x£1.25 quit toiletries
anyway when I got home I realised that i had been overcharged for some yoghurts i had bought by £2.85 so I rang the store and the CS said I'll have to print out your receipt and ring you back. That was now 1 1/2hours ago and now I'm panicking in case they are having a mini investigation into my spend. To make matters worse I also used a £4 daily mail coupon and I bought one of those freeview boxes that give you 500 points!!
I wish I'd stayed at home this morning!!

    Hello All

    Sorry to be thick!!??!!

I have looked through loads of this thread but I can't seem to figure out where you actually get the vouchers from in the first place?

Hope someone can point me in the right direction?

    Thanks in advance.:T

    Hi Catlou,

The quit vouchers are in a give up smoking "Quit Pack" - its an A5 size envelope with a wallchart, stickers & vouchers inside. They are usually on the pharmacy counter or by nicorrete patches on the shelves if you dont have a pharmacy in your local.

The health & beauty vouchers are from leaflets - again found near H&B stuf. I have never seen one so I can't tell you what they look like! :D

Good luck - you can always ask the people at the pharmacy desk if you cant see any.
