I felt abit strange today not having a tesco fix and realising there was no need to buy any toiletries !!!

Mother's Day is on 18th March this year and I have thought of a lovely idea for mum. I will make her up a hamper of toiletry goodies, in a basket with cellophane and ribbons on and I will book a spa day courtesy of the Daily Mail.

for those who don't know, see the thread below, but basically the Daily Mail was offering a free spa day for its readers, as long as each person has the voucher (as shown on the thread), they are entitled to a free spa day and have use of the gym, sauna, spa and swimming pools - this can be booked up to 31st March. (Treatments are extra but there is NO hard sell)

I am going once with Mum and have booked for the end of next week at the Laguna Spa at Park Plaza Hotel, Cardiff - they are sending me a price list and details of the treatments so I can book mum something nice.

Then I am going towards the end of March with DD1 - she has an inset day so we are going to the Marriott in Cardiff for a spa day - she will be sooooo excited and with a no spend required - it is a super surprise for her.

Sorry to rave on but I know Mum and DD1 will be delighted with this as it is something that usually we could not afford to do.

They never have them in our Tescos or any clothing vouchers, all i got was 2 Quit it packs, Thanks to afew generous people on here i have bought afew things cheaper.

If anyone has any Quit it Vouchers or Health and Beauty vouchers spare i'd be grateful of them

Oh boo, I just got really excited when I found some £1 off £4 spend on toiletry leaflets with the tescos magazines, picked up 5 and was well pleased with myself, only to get home and realise they are out of date! :-(

Well it looks like I will have to find some other TESCO shop to spend my vouchers in as I was asked today, to kindly refrain from gracing them with my presence ever again in my local :eek: !!! They wouldn't say very much other than it was "due to bad shopping practices" but they wouldn't go into any more detail than that because they didn't have too :mad: !!!!

I told them that I would be getting in touch with their HO to put in a formal complaint as well as formally complaining about 2 members of their staff (one is on security and the other is a CSA - right pair of ignorant !!!!!es who couldn't look my way today as I was giving the management a piece of my mind and their names were mentioned!!!) so if anyone has any pointers on what to put in my letter please PM me.

I think your post 1236 says it all why you've been banned. Using £70 worth of vouchers would do it. Its people like you who spoil it for the rest of us by being greedy.

I've got no sympathy for you at all.

It just so happens that the H&B goods that I bought were split into different shopping trips and also from different stores! Therefore, the assumptions that you made were NOT correct! Calling people you know nothing about 'greedy' or anything else for that matter is out of line and I would appreciate it if you would keep them to yourself!
