Well I'm hoping to trot off to Tesco shortly (first time in a few days lol!) so I'll let you know if the vouchers work!

Our tesco had no quit packs yesterday which is really odd as they always sit under the witches noses!! I forgot my vouchers and was totally silly of me. ahhhh
  • Glad you are all getting your goodies i'm in snowed in Wales and haven't had a tesco fix for 3 days now.

    Boo Hoo

Hooray made it to Tesco's. My daughter and grandson stayed the night as they live further up the valley so we had a family outing. Unfortunately my grandson had his usual supermarket strop so by the time so by the time we got to the checkouts i was totally stressed. Picked my favourite SA, and they changed shifts as it got to my turn. Split my shop into 2 and then sent OH and grandson back to car with a bag of grapes to keep him quiet.
Frtunately the SA did accept my coupons but OH had the clubcard card on his key ring and he'd gone back to the car so my daughter had the extra points. Going to drop him down the pub l8r to watch the match and i may go for another run, thats if i'm not babysitting. Never mind there's always tomorrow.

    Another good day shopping.

Bought 4 more mouth washes and used the usual

    2.50 h/b
    1.25 x 2 quit
    1.00 x 4 quit
    1.00 x 2 h/b
    50 points x4
    that was for the mouthwashes
and i got a mini trampolene and used the 2.00 off £8.00 spend as the trampolene was £20.00 i tried to use 2

But till beeped and said NO

young lad wanted to bring over manager to manually deduct £2 well as i'd already used one of these, i just said i couldn't be bothered. To which young lad is going on about no it is right you have spent the ammount.

I just said thanks but i'm in a rush.

Young nice lad said ok, but you really should, as every little helps remember.

Remember Remember, how can i forget.

Think I'd quite like this that bloaty posted... now, does anyone know if the vouchers work on Dove ProAge? :D

Bought body cream oil at £4.99, body lotion at £4.99 and a roll-on deodorant at £1.82 to take it over £10. (Products very thin on the ground so presumably loads of people going for the free spa treatment!)

Till accepted £2.50 HB and one £1.25 QK beauty. Others were all declined by till. Nice SA offered to scan another beauty one for me (I'd only handed over one of each) but that didn't work either.

Still, cost £8.05 in the end for a spa day for two people! Have a couple of spas in 15-20 minutes driving distance from me - both different companies - so just hope one of those is included :)

I believe this is because although you spent twice the amount (ie >£16), you only bought the one fitness item so the till would only accept the one voucher. If you'd bought two items and total >£16 then I believe it would have taken both (although strictly speaking against the voucher T&Cs)

Above theory based on using H&B vouchers as you can only use one of each type per item ie buy 4 toiletry items total £10 can only use 4 of the 50 point vouchers, not 5 as you'd expect having spent 5 * £2.

    Hope that makes sense!
